AMANO HOME Apartments
About
You know what caught me off guard about AMANO HOME Apartments? It's actually got this whole residential vibe going on that makes you feel less like a tourist and more like you're crashing at a stylish friend's place. I mean, the moment you walk in, there's none of that stuffy hotel lobby energy – it's more relaxed, sort of like they designed it for people who actually live in cities rather than just passing through.
The apartments themselves are honestly pretty thoughtful. You've got proper kitchen setups (not those sad hotel kitchenettes with the broken coffee maker), decent counter space for spreading out your stuff, and – this is key – actual storage that makes sense if you're staying more than a couple nights. The design leans modern without being cold, if that makes sense. Clean lines, good lighting, but they didn't forget that people need places to put their random travel junk. What really works is how they've balanced that apartment-living feel with hotel-level cleanliness and maintenance. You're not dealing with someone else's weird quirks or mysterious stains, but you're also not stuck with those generic beige hotel rooms that could be anywhere.
I'd say the 8.5 rating feels about right – it's solidly above average without being precious about it. The staff actually seems to get that people staying in apartment-style places usually want to be left alone to do their thing, but they're helpful when you need them. Check-in was straightforward, none of that hovering-around-the-front-desk awkwardness. Honestly, if you're someone who gets a bit claustrophobic in traditional hotels or you're staying somewhere for more than just a quick business trip, this kind of setup makes a lot of sense. You get your own space to breathe, cook a meal if you want, spread out your laptop without sitting on the bed – basically live like a normal human being while you're traveling. It's not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it nails that sweet spot of being comfortable and functional without any unnecessary fuss.

Mam fern and well designed apartment, with everything you need for a few days stay
everything was clean, room sizes was good. bathroom was perfect.
As an avid traveler, having experience staying in many hotels in Berlin, I must say that Amano Home is the best hotel in the city. The location is 15 minutes walk from Alexander Platz and the city center, 20 minutes walk to the Humboldt Forum. The Rosa Luxemburg metro station is nearby (literally 1 minute). The apartment that I booked turned out to be even better than in the photo, spacious, modern, full of air and light thanks to huge windows from floor to ceiling, with a stunning view. The apartment was very clean, for the first time in a hotel I did not have an allergy to dust, many thanks to the maids for their responsible attitude to work.
Everything.
It’s super new and has everything that you might need. The apartment is on a smaller size side and the bed takes up the entire bedroom but as two adults and a kid we felt comfortable.
great location and ambiance, we were very happy with the atmosphere and the access to the train and local restaurants and bars. good bakery nearby!
The hotel is in a great location, next to subway and tram lines, surrounded by several restaurants and in walk-in distance from Alexanderplatz. The auto check-in, be it via app or physical terminal, is easy and quick (and also very modern).
