About

First Impressions

Walking up to Apartments Berlin Aroser Allee, you know what struck me first? It's not your typical hotel setup — this three-star property feels more like stepping into a residential building where you actually get to live like a local for a few days. The building sits quietly on Aroser Allee in Reinickeldorf, and honestly, that's part of its charm. You're not in the tourist chaos of Mitte, but you're still very much in Berlin, just experiencing it from a different angle.

The Apartment Experience

Each apartment here gives you proper space to breathe — something you don't always get in traditional hotel rooms. I mean, having your own kitchen changes everything when you're staying more than a couple nights. You can grab fresh bread from the local bakery and actually make yourself coffee the way you like it in the morning. The apartments aren't fancy, but they're thoughtfully set up with everything you actually need, not just what looks good in photos.

Location & Getting Around

Here's the thing about Reinickeldorf — it's one of those Berlin neighborhoods that feels authentically German without trying too hard. You've got the Tegel Forest practically on your doorstep, which is perfect if you need to escape the city buzz for a bit. The U-Bahn connections are solid too; you can get to the center of Berlin without much hassle, but when you come back in the evening, you're in this quieter residential area where locals are just going about their daily lives.

What Makes It Work for Couples

I can see why couples rate this place so highly — there's something nice about having your own little Berlin apartment to retreat to. You're not dealing with hotel corridors and thin walls, and you can actually cook dinner together if you want a quiet night in. The area around Grindelwaldweg has some lovely walking spots, and honestly, exploring a residential Berlin neighborhood together feels more intimate than fighting crowds at Brandenburg Gate every day. Plus, parking isn't the nightmare it can be in central Berlin, which matters if you're planning day trips outside the city.

Why Guests Keep Coming Back

What really works about this place is that it doesn't try to be something it's not. You're getting a clean, comfortable base in Berlin that feels like temporary residency rather than just another hotel stay. The recent guests aren't wrong about the location — it's that sweet spot where you feel like you're living in Berlin rather than just visiting it. Sure, it's not going to wow you with fancy amenities, but sometimes you just want a proper room with space to spread out, a functioning kitchen, and easy access to both nature and the city center. That's exactly what you get here, and honestly, that's often enough.

Although it was a code to unlock the doors, I had to call the property to activate the codes after finishing the check in procedure in their website. Luckily I had it done 3 hours before arriving to the location. Once we have the code then there is no trouble in opening.

I was still happy about this Limehome apartment for the comfort of the room, the style of the decoration and the easiness to check-in and check-out with invoice sent by email.
