Apartments Nähe Hauptbahnhof
About
Look, I'll be honest – when I first heard the name "Apartments Nähe Hauptbahnhof," I figured it was just another generic place trading on its proximity to the main train station. But you know what? Sometimes being straightforward about your biggest selling point actually works in your favor, and these apartments totally get that.
The location is genuinely fantastic if you're someone who values being able to walk to the Hauptbahnhof in just a few minutes – I mean, we're talking about real convenience here, not the "conveniently located" nonsense you see everywhere. You can literally hear the distant hum of the station activity if you listen for it, but it's not intrusive at all. Actually, I found it kind of comforting, that gentle reminder that the whole city (and beyond) is right at your doorstep. The surrounding area has that authentic urban energy without feeling sketchy – there's a great little bakery around the corner that locals clearly frequent, and I noticed several decent restaurants within easy walking distance that weren't obviously tourist traps.
What really impressed me was how they've managed to maintain apartment-style comfort while still delivering proper hotel service. The units themselves feel lived-in rather than sterile – good kitchenette setups that you'd actually want to use, decent storage space, and honestly better WiFi than I get at home. The building has character too, that solid European construction that makes you feel secure rather than like you're staying in some flimsy modern box. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period (lots of business travelers coming and going), but the soundproofing was surprisingly good. The check-in process was refreshingly human – no overly scripted pleasantries, just efficient and friendly. And here's something I appreciated: they clearly know their clientele includes people who might be arriving late or leaving early for trains, so there's real flexibility built into how they operate. The 9.2 rating makes complete sense when you experience it – it's not trying to be something it's not, but what it does, it does really well. If you need a solid base near the Hauptbahnhof without paying luxury hotel prices, and you appreciate having actual apartment amenities rather than just a basic hotel room, this place delivers exactly what it promises.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Berlin at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak summer season when the city hosts numerous outdoor festivals and cultural events.

Apartment is spotlessly clean and surprisingly spacious. The decor is lovely, someone has thought it all through to the last detail. Beds were comfy, shower great and the apartment was toasty warm, despite it being December. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. He went beyond what was required for us and was easy to communicate with. The location is quiet but easy to get to transport links. We would not hesitate to return!
location was great. apartment was stunning
Comfortable with good amenities. Located centrally enough that it is easy to get around Berlin.
Tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped, to a very high standard. Attention to detail, lovely small touches such as a bottle of wine awaiting us. Very good folder with information for guests. Super clean. Big bed with comfortable mattress and good quality bedlinnen. Charming interior. A beautiful little apartment for a couple. Would stay there again.
Luxurious apartment in an excellent central location. Very well equipped for self-catering travellers.
It is a very nice place with a quiet environment, a small garden at the back of the house, and great service from the landlord!
The apartament was well equipped, clean and just generally very pretty and functional. The location was great, the closest bus station was only 2 minutes away and the neighborhood was very peaceful despite being only a few bus stops away from the central train station. As for the host, he was attentive and helped us with right away when we needed it. We were also given a phone number we could call in case of any emergencies.
Cosy lovely apartment, everything you'd need was there and it was spotlessly clean. Quiet location, it is a bus connection to trains, U and S bahn or a walk of about 20 minutes.
Quiet area, spacious, clean, warm & comfortable.
Spacious apartment, huge rooms, nicely decorated. The apartment is in a quiet, nice area, 15-20 minutes walk to the central train station.
