B&B Hotel Berlin-Tiergarten
About
You know what struck me first about B&B Hotel Berlin-Tiergarten? It's that rare find where the location actually lives up to the name. I mean, you're literally a five-minute walk from the Tiergarten itself – not some distant corner of it, but close enough that you can hear the early morning joggers if you crack your window open. The hotel sits on Englische Straße, which honestly sounds more impressive than it looks (it's a pretty standard city street), but the real magic is what's around the corner.
The building itself has that clean, no-nonsense vibe that B&B Hotels do well – think IKEA meets boutique hotel, if that makes sense. Check-in was refreshingly quick when I stayed there in October, though I'd imagine summer gets a bit hectic with all the festival crowds. The lobby's got these oversized windows that flood the space with light, and honestly, after wandering around some of Berlin's grittier neighborhoods, it felt like a breath of fresh air. The rooms are compact but smartly laid out – you're not going to throw a party in there, but everything you need is within arm's reach. I particularly appreciated the blackout curtains because, let's face it, Berlin's summer days stretch forever and sometimes you just want to sleep in.
What really sold me on this place, though, was stepping outside and realizing I could walk to the Brandenburg Gate in about fifteen minutes, or catch the S-Bahn at Tiergarten station (literally around the corner) and be anywhere in the city in no time. But here's the thing most tourists miss – you're also walking distance to some fantastic local spots that aren't crawling with tour groups. There's this little bakery two streets over that does incredible pretzels, and if you head toward Moabit, you'll find some of the best Turkish food in the city. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet after 9 PM, which I loved after long days of sightseeing, though if you're looking for late-night action, you'll want to hop on the U-Bahn toward Kreuzberg or Friedrichshain. Parking's typical Berlin nightmare stuff, but honestly, you don't need a car here – the public transport connections are stellar, and most of what you want to see is walkable anyway. For a solid three-star spot that gets the basics right and puts you in the heart of things without the tourist trap pricing, it's pretty hard to beat.

Comfortable, clean, and accessible.
The room was exceptionally clean, with a powerful shower and very comfortable beds. There was ample space and plenty of hangers for clothing, as well as enough power outlets and a desk suitable for working. It would have been even better if the chairs in the room were more comfortable for working.
I was disappointed that early check-in before 15:00 required an additional fee, especially since the room was already prepared. The lounge area was also quite small and not particularly comfortable.
Good
-Cleanliness -Silence -Good location
-When you check pictograms at hotel's page, you can see "free parking". But they charge €15 per day. I chose this hotel exactly for free parking and it was disappointment.
Very good
Location
A Pleasant Stay During A Visit to TU Berlin
Liked quite a few things: 1. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful! Special shout out to the girl from Thailand. 2. The room I stayed in: loved the motif of the art work - inspired by German football fans, and the large window facing Mercedes-Benz building. Quite a modern urban view. 3. The neighbourhood: TU Berlin, the temporary bauhaus-archiv / museum für gestaltung and Berlin Zoological Garden are within walking distance.
Perfectly fine, just what you expect from an average hotel chain
Perfectly fine. Nothing fancy but comfortable and in a quiet area that’s also close to public transport.
Everything as expected, no expectations surpassed but also nothing terrible
Great location and very clean and comfortable
The initial receptionist was very friendly and welcoming.
Whenever I stay at this hotel chain, I find the staff are never especially warm and inviting. This is why I was pleasantly surprised - at least at the beginning.
Nice for a short term stay with friends .
Nice location and clean. I have read many of the reviews and I was confused. The location was very good and the neighbourhood safe , there were only hotels around. Next to the Sbahn (5min walk) and many lines available . Only two stations away from the Hauptbahnhof. The room was clean and ideal for a short term stay . I was with my friends and we enjoyed Berlin . The room was hot , ideal for the cold weather .
We had a three bed room and the beds were too small . I would prefer bigger beds .
Very good
Room very comfy, clean and spacious. Breakfast excellent.
Maybe different pillows as bed really comfy, but pillows very soft.
Superb
Clean and with nice decoration.
Sometimes the water was lukewarm.
Nice.
Close to S station. Pretty cheap.
