Be in Berlin Apartments in Prenzlauer Berg
About
First Impressions
Walking up to Be in Berlin Apartments in Prenzlauer Berg, you immediately get that "local neighborhood" feeling rather than the typical tourist hotel vibe. The building sits quietly on Rykestraße, and honestly, that's part of its charm — you're not dealing with tour groups or lobby crowds here. It's more like staying in a friend's well-appointed apartment, which I mean, is exactly what these three-star serviced apartments are going for. The entrance feels residential and understated, though you'll quickly realize the location is anything but ordinary.
The Prenzlauer Berg Advantage
Here's what I love about this spot — you're right in the heart of one of Berlin's most authentic neighborhoods, and that 9.7 location score isn't just marketing fluff. Step outside and you're surrounded by the kind of cafes where locals actually hang out, not just Instagram tourists. The cobblestone streets around here tell stories, and you can walk to Kollwitzplatz in about five minutes for the weekend farmers market. Couples seem to really get this area (which makes sense given the feedback), probably because it strikes that perfect balance between lively and intimate. You know what's great? You can easily bike or take the tram to Mitte, but you're sleeping somewhere that feels genuinely Berlin.
The Apartment Experience
The apartments themselves feel more spacious than typical Berlin hotel rooms — and anyone who's stayed in this city knows that's saying something. Each unit has a proper kitchen, which honestly saves you money and gives you flexibility with meal times. The furnishing is clean and modern without being sterile, sort of that Scandinavian-influenced style that works well in German spaces. I particularly appreciated having a washing machine (small detail, but it matters on longer stays) and the fact that the Wi-Fi actually works reliably throughout the space.
Neighborhood Life
What really sets this place apart is how it drops you into actual Berlin life rather than tourist Berlin. There's a great bakery literally around the corner where you can grab proper German bread for breakfast, and the whole Kastanienallee strip with its mix of vintage shops and restaurants is just a short walk away. The area comes alive in the evenings but never gets rowdy — it's more about people meeting friends for dinner than party crowds. You'll find yourself walking everywhere because the neighborhood is so pedestrian-friendly, and the public transport connections are solid when you need them.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.6 rating reflects what you'd expect from a well-run apartment hotel — it delivers on the practical stuff without any major surprises, good or bad. Couples especially seem drawn to the combination of privacy and location, and I can see why. You get your own space to decompress after sightseeing, but you're staying somewhere with real character rather than a generic business district. The value proposition works well too — you're getting prime Berlin real estate without five-star prices, and the apartment setup means you can live a bit like a local during your stay.

The apartment was clean and spacious. It had everything we need and some extra! The location is great too, especially for a family with small children. The pictures don't communicate how large the rooms actually are.
Fully equipped, available all what is necessary! Very clean and cosy! Grocery shops, bakery are very close. Very convenient public transport bringing to city center.
I booked this apartment for a colleague who found the apartment very spacious and clean, and suited his needs for a 1 night business trip in Berlin. He would thoroughly recommend and return when he is next in Berlin.

The position in the city
Zeer ruim appartement met 2 slaapkamers op een super locatie in de charmante wijk Prenzlauer berg. Op gelijkvloers achter de straat, aan een rustige binnenkoer/tuin. Ontbijten met zicht op groen. Zeer stil.
Tolle Lage in Prenzlauer Berg, nahe an Restaurants und Cafés. Direkt nebenan ist ein sehr guter Bäcker. Man ist schnell am Alexanderplatz. Die Wohnung ist groß, die Betten sehr bequem. Sehr gute Ausstattung einschl. Waschmaschine.
