Be in Berlin Apartments in Prenzlauer Berg
About
You know what struck me first about Be in Berlin Apartments? It's actually in Prenzlauer Berg – like, properly in it, not on some sketchy edge pretending to be central. I mean, this neighborhood has completely transformed from the gritty East Berlin district it once was into this perfect mix of young families, creatives, and people who've figured out that you don't need to stay in Mitte to experience the real Berlin.
The apartments themselves are honestly what you'd expect from a solid 3-star setup, but here's the thing – they feel like actual Berlin living, not some sanitized hotel experience. The 8.6 rating makes total sense once you're there because it's not trying to be fancy, it's just trying to be genuinely useful. You'll have your own space to spread out (which is clutch if you're staying more than a couple nights), and the kitchens actually work – I'm talking proper cookware, not those sad hotel kitchenettes with one bent spoon. The Wi-Fi is reliable, the heating works, and honestly, that's more than you can say for some of the pricier places I've crashed at in Berlin.
But here's what really sells it – step outside and you're surrounded by the stuff that makes Prenzlauer Berg addictive. Kastanienallee is right there with its vintage shops and that perfectly imperfect Berlin café culture where people nurse single coffees for hours. Sunday mornings, you can walk to Mauerpark and watch the chaos of the flea market unfold (get there early though, it gets absolutely mental by noon). The S-Bahn connections are actually decent from this area – you're not stuck taking three different trains to get anywhere interesting. And here's something most people don't mention: this part of the city stays lively without being obnoxious. You'll hear street life and conversations drifting up, but it's not the kind of noise that keeps you awake unless you're an incredibly light sleeper. The evenings have this nice energy where locals are walking dogs, grabbing dinner, living their actual lives around you. It feels participatory rather than touristy, if that makes sense. Plus, you're close enough to walk to some genuinely great restaurants that haven't made it onto every tourist blog yet – the kind of places where you might be the only person speaking English, which is always a good sign.

The apartment was clean and spacious. It had everything we need and some extra! The location is great too, especially for a family with small children. The pictures don't communicate how large the rooms actually are.
Fully equipped, available all what is necessary! Very clean and cosy! Grocery shops, bakery are very close. Very convenient public transport bringing to city center.
I booked this apartment for a colleague who found the apartment very spacious and clean, and suited his needs for a 1 night business trip in Berlin. He would thoroughly recommend and return when he is next in Berlin.
The location was excellent and the apartment was spacious.

The position in the city
Zeer ruim appartement met 2 slaapkamers op een super locatie in de charmante wijk Prenzlauer berg. Op gelijkvloers achter de straat, aan een rustige binnenkoer/tuin. Ontbijten met zicht op groen. Zeer stil.
Tolle Lage in Prenzlauer Berg, nahe an Restaurants und Cafés. Direkt nebenan ist ein sehr guter Bäcker. Man ist schnell am Alexanderplatz. Die Wohnung ist groß, die Betten sehr bequem. Sehr gute Ausstattung einschl. Waschmaschine.
