Bob W Mitte
About
You know what struck me first about Bob W Mitte? It's one of those places that actually gets Berlin right – and I mean the real Berlin, not the tourist brochure version. The building itself has this industrial-chic thing going on that doesn't feel forced or try-hard, which honestly is refreshing when you've seen so many hotels slap some exposed brick on the walls and call it "authentic design." The lobby has these massive windows that let in all this natural light, and there's something about the way they've mixed raw concrete with warmer touches that just works. Check-in was surprisingly smooth too – none of that awkward standing around while they fumble with your reservation.
The rooms are where this place really shines though. I mean, they're not huge (this is Berlin, space costs money), but everything feels intentional. The beds are actually comfortable – and I'm picky about mattresses – plus there's decent storage space, which you don't always get in boutique spots like this. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even though you're right in Mitte. The windows do their job blocking out street noise, but you can still crack one open if you want that cool Berlin air. The bathrooms are compact but well-designed, with this rainfall shower that has proper water pressure – small details that matter when you've been walking around the city all day. And honestly, the WiFi actually works everywhere, which sounds basic but you'd be surprised how many places mess that up.
Location-wise, you're basically in the heart of everything without being stuck in the total chaos of Alexanderplatz or Potsdamer Platz. You can walk to Museum Island in about ten minutes, maybe fifteen if you're taking your time, and there are some genuinely good local spots nearby that aren't just tourist traps. I found this great little coffee place around the corner that the front desk mentioned – not one of those chains, but the kind of spot where locals actually hang out in the mornings. The whole area has that perfect balance where you feel connected to the city but can still get some peace when you need it. Parking's a bit of a pain (welcome to Berlin), but the public transport connections are solid, and honestly, you'll probably end up walking or biking most places anyway. For what you get – that 4-star experience without the stuffiness, solid location, and staff who seem to actually know the neighborhood – the 8.6 rating makes complete sense. It's the kind of place where you settle in and think, yeah, this feels right.

The apartment 12 is small but sweet and cosy, warm, and very quiet. What was the surpise considering that you are near the center. The location is great. Close to Alexanderplatz, TV tower, public transport, and nice restaurants.
It was super comfortable, incredibly clean, and very convenient. It is amazing to be able to do everything without any need for human communication. The room was fresh with lavender scent from the first moment till the last. The beds were like only you could dream about, with the pillows and the blankets... The room temperature was well arranged, and you could always adjust. Air isolation was great. It's close to metro and bus, or 20 mins walk to the Alexanderplatz. On top experience with the complete facilities, luggage room, washing room, full kitchen, bathroom goods, smart TV, yoga mats, special board with gifts (especially unlimited films of Polaroid camera!)
Great location with easy to public transportation. Building was easy to find and access was simple with the app. Large comfortable room with all kitchen equipment necessary for preparing meals.
Eco friendly, location, clean, friendly stuff, easy check in/check out
Great location and friendly staff. A very comfortable and well-equipped room. Warm and cosy.
we booked through you guys booking.com and the picture you advise the room with, wasn't the room we got at the end. So this was disappointing for us as we expected a apartment with a kitchen, which we didn't get and were forced to eat out every single time. A bummer.
Great position, it was easy ti reach all the attractions, the room was clean and cozy, helpful customer care :)
Great location, easy to access, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen
Central, clean, easy check in, good communication before and during stay.
The rooms are spotless and very thoughtfully and tastefully equipped. There are very thoughtful, quirky, and very cool additions for example the reusable water bottles and the additional tips including online yoga lessons, a jogging route, and restaurant recommendations. The location was excellent. And while there is no staff, I felt very well taken care of; communication was constant on their side, and I had no difficulties finding anything.
