Speaking of food, you're walking distance from some seriously good Turkish spots, and the whole Graefekiez area is right there with its cafes and bars that locals actually go to, not just tourists.

Here's the thing though – this isn't a place where you'll be hanging out in your room all day, and that's kind of the point. You're staying here because you want to be in Kreuzberg without paying Mitte prices, and it delivers on that promise. The U-Bahn connections are solid (Schönleinstraße station is close), so you can get anywhere in the city pretty easily. I noticed most of the other guests seemed to be younger travelers or people in town for work – you know, folks who get that sometimes you just need a clean, safe place to crash that won't drain your budget. The 7.4 rating makes sense to me because it does exactly what it says on the tin, nothing more, nothing less. If you're looking for a concierge or a fancy breakfast spread, keep looking.
