Honestly, when I first saw the name of this place, I rolled my eyes a bit – I mean, "COOLEST Apartment" with all caps? But you know what, they're actually not wrong. This apartment in Pankow delivers on the style promise in ways that surprised me, and the check-in really was stupidly easy (thank god, because I was dragging two suitcases up from the U-Bahn).
The location on Berliner Allee might not scream "sexy Berlin neighborhood" to tourists, but here's the thing locals know – Pankow is having a moment. It's got that authentic Berlin vibe without the crowds of Mitte or the pretension of Prenzlauer Berg. You're maybe 20 minutes from Alexanderplatz on the tram, but you'll actually want to explore what's right here. There's this incredible Vietnamese place two blocks down that I stumbled into after my first night, and the morning bakery run revealed one of those old-school German bakeries where the woman behind the counter has probably been there since reunification. The apartment itself lives up to the "crazy style" billing – think industrial meets vintage Berlin squat aesthetic, but cleaned up and Instagram-ready. Exposed brick, weird art pieces that somehow work together, and lighting that makes everything look moody in the best way. The bed was surprisingly comfortable (you never know with these design-forward places), and I loved that they didn't sacrifice function for form – the kitchen actually has everything you need, the wifi was solid, and there's proper blackout curtains for those summer nights when Berlin refuses to get dark until 10 PM.
What really sold me though was how quiet it gets at night. Berliner Allee has some traffic during the day, sure, but evenings are peaceful in a way that central Berlin just isn't. I could actually open the windows and hear birds in the morning instead of techno bleeding from someone's after-party. The 7.9 rating feels about right – it's not luxury hotel perfect, but it's got character and comfort in equal measure. I'd definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to feel like I was living in Berlin rather than just visiting it. Just don't expect room service or a concierge – this is very much a "figure it out yourself" kind of place, which honestly made it feel more authentic.

Nice and new appartment with good connection to the city centre. Window to the backyard so it is not noisy. Suitable if you want to explore Berlin for a few days. Close to public transport.

Kleurrijke uitvalsbasis
Vrolijke kleuren, leuke inrichting. Voorzien van alle comfort. Geen nachtlawaai ondanks de ligging aan een drukke weg. Openbaar vervoer vlakbij en gratis parking in de omgeving. Goede communicatie met de host.
De lamp hing wat laag boven de tafel, dat was wat opletten.In de slaapkamer en badkamer beneden zou een rekje of kastje wel handig zijn om wat gerief op te leggen.

sengene var rigtig gode. lejligheden lå tilbagetrukket fra vejen. køkkenet virkede godt. indretningen med et stort kælderværelse i kælder var godt, så der var privatliv. rolige og stille omgivelser. hyggeligt område. mulighed for at se fjernsyn. mulighed for parkering uden for på gaden i weekenden og om aftenen.

Den fineste farve eksplosion. Her var så meget atmosfære. Vi var alle vilde med det. Man kunne kun blive i godt humør af at være i lejligheden. Der var alt hvad vi skulle bruge i lejligheden Der var ingen støj fra trafikken og der var offentlig transport (TRAM) lige udenfor. Vi kom i bil og der var gratis parkering i de omkringliggende gader.
Gut geeignet für kurze Aufenthalte
Das Apartment war sehr gut ausgestattet. In der Küche hatte man alles was man brauchte. Die Größe war für unsere kleine Familie (2 Erwachsene, ein Kleinkind) perfekt. Da wir im Winter da waren haben wir uns sehr über die Fußbodenheizung gefreut. Die Haltestelle für die S-Bahn ist nur ca 300m entfernt. Es war alles sauber. Die Türen lassen sich über einen Zugangscode öffnen, wodurch man keinen Schlüssel oder Karte braucht. Da sich das Apartment im Hinterhof befindet bekommt man vom Straßenlärm wenig mit. In der Nähe sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants.
Es war in keinem Schlafzimmer ein Kleiderschrank vorhanden. Da wir nur eine Nacht da waren hat uns der kleine Kleiderständer im unteren Schlafzimmer gereicht, aber für längere Aufenthalte ist das eher unpraktisch. Eine der Steckdosen neben dem Bett hat nicht funktioniert. Das Bett war etwas zu weich. Im Badezimmer hat man auch so gut wie keine Ablagemöglichkeit. die Treppe war wirklich steil, was aber anhand der Fotos auch absehbar war. An Werktagen ist das Parken direkt vor dem Apartment nicht gestattet, was das Be- und Entladen erschwert.

Eine sehr innovative und fröhliche Gestaltung der Räume. Alles sehr aufgeräumt und sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Originelle Wohnung
Sehr originell eingerichtete, schöne Wohnung. In der Küche alles was man braucht, Betten bequem und sauber, Bad sauber mit frischen Handtüchern. Alles sehr nah: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, S-Bahn Haltestelle, Essen gehen. Parkplatz ist Glückssache, man kann kostenlos am Straßenrand in Seitenstraßen parken, aber eben nur, wenn man Glück hat und gerade jemand wegfährt...
Leider war es etwas schmuddelig, vor allem das Sofa, die Sofadecke und die Teppiche hatten viele Flecken, das Fensterrollo hing schief...Da würde ein sauberer Überwurf über das Sofa und eine waschbare Sofadecke schon Wunder wirken und einfach mal das Rollo reparieren würde die Wohnung sehr aufwerten....
