It's tucked away on Grünheider Weg, which is this quiet residential street that feels worlds away from the tourist madness, even though you're technically still in Berlin.

I mean, you'll walk past proper German bakeries where the older ladies still chat with the baker about their grandkids, and there's this lovely smell of fresh bread that drifts out every morning around 7 AM. The apartment itself is on the top floor (DG means "Dachgeschoss" – basically the attic level), and while that means hauling your luggage up some stairs, the payoff is these amazing slanted ceilings that give the whole place character. Plus, it's surprisingly quiet up there – I actually slept better than I do at most city hotels.

What really got me was how thoughtfully everything was set up. The owner clearly knows what travelers need because there were all these little touches that made life easier – proper coffee (not that instant stuff), decent WiFi that actually worked for video calls, and enough space to spread out your things without living out of a suitcase.
