Holiday 33 Apartments EFG Schönhauser Allee mit Balkon
About
Honestly, when I first heard the name "Holiday 33 Apartments EFG Schönhauser Allee mit Balkon," I thought someone was just throwing German words at a wall to see what stuck. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The location on Schönhauser Allee puts you right in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg – and I mean right in it, not some tourist-friendly version of it. You'll hear the M1 tram rumbling by in the morning (which honestly becomes kind of comforting after a day or two), and you're literally a two-minute walk from some of the neighborhood's best cafes and that amazing Saturday market at Kollwitzplatz.
The apartment itself feels like staying at a friend's place who actually has their life together. The balkon they mention in the name? It's not huge, but it's perfectly sized for your morning coffee and people-watching – and trust me, Schönhauser Allee delivers on the people-watching front. The whole setup is refreshingly straightforward – clean, functional, with those satisfying German touches like proper blackout curtains and windows that actually seal when you close them. I mean, it's a 3-star place, so don't expect marble bathrooms, but everything works exactly as it should. The kitchen has real dishes and decent cookware, which matters if you're planning to hit the weekend markets and want to cook something instead of eating out every meal. Check-in was surprisingly smooth too – none of that awkward waiting around in a tiny lobby situation.
What really won me over was how the place sits in the neighborhood. You're close enough to Mitte that you can walk to Museum Island if you're feeling ambitious, but far enough into Prenzlauer Berg that you get the real vibe of the area. The street can get a bit lively on weekend nights – this isn't exactly a quiet residential side street – but it's more "interesting urban sounds" than "can't sleep because of noise." Plus, you're right by the U2 line at Senefelderplatz, which connects you to pretty much everywhere you'd want to go. That 8.6 rating makes perfect sense to me – it's not trying to be fancy, but it nails everything that actually matters when you're staying somewhere for more than just crashing after sightseeing. If you want to feel like you're actually staying in Berlin rather than just visiting it, this spot delivers.

We stayed as a family of 4. The apartment was clean, nice and spacious. The beds were comfortable, they provided many towels, shampoo/soap/Conditioner, extra pillows, extra blankets, washer, dishwasher, drying rack, dishes, etc. It is across the street from public transit, and many restaurants around. I love that they provided lots of information about the area and the apartment. Very thought out apartment amenities. Super easy check in and out process.
Great place to stay as it is very conveniently located near to metro station. The apartment was spacious, clean and had all the amenities that you would like to have. Highly recommend to other travellers.

Great location, get the Berlin atmosphere with comfort of own appartment. Love the balcony
Exceptional value for money. Beautiful flat with lots of space, cooking facilities and a decent bathroom. The beds were comfy, the curtains kept the room dark, it was quiet, and it was great to have a balcony. And is right next to public transport stations so was easy to get around.
