Hotel Adele
About
You know what? Hotel Adele surprised me. I'll be honest - when I first pulled up, I wasn't expecting much from a 3-star place, but there's something genuinely charming about this spot that the rating doesn't quite capture. The lobby has this lived-in feel that's actually pretty welcoming, like staying at a well-traveled aunt's house rather than some sterile chain hotel.
The staff here actually seems to care, which is rarer than it should be these days. Check-in was smooth - no weird upselling tactics or making you feel like you're bothering them. My room was clean and honestly more spacious than I expected, though I mean, don't go in expecting luxury finishes or anything. The bed was comfortable enough (I'm picky about mattresses), and the bathroom had decent water pressure, which matters more than people think when you're dealing with morning showers. One thing I really appreciated - the walls are surprisingly thick for an older building, so you're not hearing every conversation from the hallway or the room next door.
What really got me was the breakfast situation. It's not fancy, but they actually put effort into it - fresh coffee that doesn't taste like it's been sitting there since 6 AM, and the pastries seem to come from somewhere local rather than those sad frozen things you get at a lot of places. The morning crowd tends to be a mix of business travelers and tourists, which gives it a nice energy without being chaotic. Location-wise, you're within walking distance of some solid restaurants and cafes - nothing touristy, just places where locals actually eat. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak times (honestly, when isn't it?), but the front desk folks know the area and can point you toward spots that won't break the bank. I stayed during what I'd call shoulder season, so things felt relaxed without being dead. The 7.8 rating makes sense - it's not going to blow your mind, but it does what it promises without any nasty surprises, and sometimes that's exactly what you need.

Location Decent
Neat and clean
Great location with easy check in and check out processes. I got a room upgrade and the staff was really friendly. Good value for the right money. Public transportation available really close by that gets you to most places in Berlin.
Enough space
Good location, easy self check-in, clean and spacious room
The property is in the vicinity of Alexanderplatz in a nice and a quiet area of the city. There is a new renovated bathroom, comfortable bed, tea and coffee, and I got even an upgrade to a bigger room. The receptionist was also quite helpful. All went very well for me.
Great little gem at the heart of the city - recommend staying here.. The hotel is based a very short walk from Alexanderplatz (10-15 min) making it an ideal area to spend the night in the city center. Clean rooms with basic amenities provided ( tea, coffee, hair dryer, shampoo/soap, room safe, TV, iPod/iphone dock etc.). The room was quite big and the bathrooms were very modern with good water pressure and a large bathtub. Reception was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions via the booking.com app. The hotel is located next to a great area in the city for restaurants and small cafés. There is a large park less than 5 minutes away which allows for a great walk away from the hustle of the city. The room was of very good value considering prices of similar locations in the city center.
Great and comfi place 15 minutes walking distance to Alexanderplatz or 2 minutes to the tram Many breakfast and dinner possibilities just around the corner
