About this stay

About

You know what surprised me about Hotel Bohemia? It's one of those places that doesn't try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies or over-the-top amenities, but somehow ends up being exactly what you need. I mean, sure, it's technically a 3-star place, but honestly – and I've stayed at plenty of supposedly fancier spots – this feels like they actually understand what travelers want.

The first thing that hit me walking in was how the staff genuinely seemed to care about getting you settled properly. Not in that rehearsed, corporate way, but more like... well, like they're actually invested in whether you have a decent stay. The rooms have this lived-in comfort that's hard to fake – good mattresses (seriously, I slept better than I have in months), decent water pressure in the shower, and those little touches that make you think someone who travels a lot helped design the place. The decor has a bit of that bohemian vibe the name suggests without going overboard with it. I particularly loved the reading nooks they've carved out in some of the common areas – perfect for that weird limbo time between checking out and catching your flight.

What really sold me though was how quiet it gets at night, which honestly wasn't something I expected. You get that perfect balance where you can still hear just enough of the world outside to feel connected to the place, but not so much that you're lying there at 2 AM listening to every conversation on the street. The whole operation just runs smoothly without feeling sterile – breakfast appears when it should, housekeeping doesn't wake you up, and there's always someone around who can point you toward whatever you're looking for without making you feel like you're bothering them. It's the kind of place where that 8.0 rating actually makes sense when you're there, you know? Not perfect, but definitely the sort of spot where you find yourself thinking "yeah, I'd stay here again" as you're packing up to leave.

Very hospitable staff, this place exceeded our expectations, given our frequent travelling and knowing that lower price compared to other places in the area is usually a reason to be concerned. This hotel has actually managed to impress us. Free cola at the reception, we were also told that fruit, tee, coffee is free which is a nice bonus.

Really sweet staff; everyone treated me so well! They gave me a welcome drink, and both the reception staff member and the breakfast server were attentive and accommodating. The room was very cozy. It’s outdated, but it kind of felt like going to your grandma’s place. I liked the area too, although it might feel rough for some people. There’s no luxury but it’s cozy and convenient. I would definitely go back.
