Judits Apartments
About
Honestly, I wasn't expecting much when I first pulled up to Judits Apartments on Neanderstraße – the street name alone had me fumbling with pronunciation. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are tucked away in neighborhoods you've never heard of. This place sits right in Tempelhof-Schöneberg, which sounds fancy but is actually just a really solid residential area where actual Berliners live, not just tourists stumbling around with guidebooks.
The building itself has that classic Berlin apartment vibe – you know, the kind where you ring a buzzer and hope someone lets you in. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward though, none of that overly formal hotel desk drama. What really got me was how quiet it is here. I mean, you're still in Berlin, so there's the occasional tram rumbling by, but compared to staying near Alexanderplatz or somewhere touristy? It's like a different world. The apartments themselves are properly spacious – not those cramped hotel rooms where you're playing Tetris with your suitcase. Everything feels lived-in but well-maintained, if that makes sense. The kind of place where the kitchen actually has sharp knives and the shower has decent water pressure.
Location-wise, it's one of those spots that seems inconvenient until you realize it's actually perfect. There's a U-Bahn stop close enough that you're not dragging luggage for ages, but far enough that you don't hear trains all night. The neighborhood has this mix of Turkish bakeries, corner spätkaufs, and those slightly hipster cafes that somehow haven't made it into travel blogs yet. I actually found myself walking to grab groceries and cooking some nights instead of eating out constantly – partly because the kitchen was decent, but mostly because wandering around felt like experiencing actual Berlin life rather than tourist Berlin. Parking's not terrible if you're driving, though honestly, you probably don't need a car from here. The whole Tempelhof area has grown on me over the years – it's got character without trying too hard, plus you can actually get to the old airport grounds for a walk when you need space. That 8.6 rating feels about right – it's not luxury, but it's solid and genuine in a way that makes you want to come back.

Peaceful and comfortable for family of 3 adults
The suite had everything needed: wc with shower, refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, oven, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, pot, frying pan, utensils, two large beds, a place for smaller children to play with toys and books, a table with chairs to eat at. The weather happened to be hot but the moveable two fans/AC helped. The neighborhood was very nice and peaceful, the hosts friendly and welcoming.
I can't think of anything I didn't like
Quiet and cosy.
A cosy apartment on the top floor of a private house in a very calm area, well connected with the centre of Berlin.
We enjoyed pretty much everything. We missed only a small dishwasher.
Nice quiet studio for one or two people
I was in the studio upstairs (on the second floor). It was very quiet, clean and well furbished. The owners were nice and welcoming. The small kitchen is equipped with what you need for a short stay, towels and bed linen are provided. This is in a residential area, with a S-bahn stop about an 8-10 minute walk from the house. This takes you to the city centre in about 20 min.
Berlin's weather in November ^^
Exceptional
All recommendations for this apartment. Very clean, neat, fragrant.. The hosts are very kind and hospitable. We only saw them when we were coming and going. This is a small apartment in the attic of a family house in a quiet neighborhood that we are delighted with. When we come to Berlin, we will come back to this apartment.
We will definitely come back.
It has everything we needed. It was clean and comfy:) The host was amazing
It's clean and comfortable in a quiet location Close to shops and restaurants Close to the S Bahn and easy access to the city centre
A good place to stay for families with children visiting Berlin
The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Support with transport to the airport was particularly appreciated. The apartment is good for a family with children. It is in a quite area yet within easy walking distance to the S-bahn.
The place only accepts payment in cash although the information on Booking says that you can also pay with credit card.
Nice flat in Lichtenrade
Good space organisation
No washing machine but flat description shows it
An enjoyable week in Berlin, thanks to this being a great home for a week!
Everything we needed was at the apartment. Great space for couples particularly for short stays. Accommodating and kind hosts. We had a very pleasant stay!
The pillows but maybe we are fussy!
Nice terrace, the bed is awful, nice location, hot water takes a long time.
Great location. 10 min walk to the train station. Nice terrace. The apartment is located in the courtyard of the main building.
The bed is very bad. You don't have to worry about someone stealing something from you, the owner walks around the apartment. He has his own garden behind the apartment. Hot water takes a long time. Photos do not match the reality, we were staying in the garden house and the pictures are from another apartment.
