Mini-Loft (KB7)
About
You know what caught me off guard about Mini-Loft? The name makes it sound tiny, but honestly, these spaces feel way more generous than most hotel rooms I've crashed in. I mean, it's not like you're getting a penthouse suite or anything, but there's this clever use of vertical space that actually works – sort of like staying in someone's really well-designed studio apartment rather than a cookie-cutter hotel box.
The whole vibe here is refreshingly unpretentious. When I first walked in, I was expecting that sterile modern hotel feel, but it's more... lived-in? The furniture looks like actual pieces someone picked out, not just ordered from a hotel supply catalog. There's usually decent natural light (though I'd try to snag a higher floor if you can), and the little kitchenette setup is surprisingly functional – I actually used it, which says something since I'm usually too lazy to cook when I'm traveling. The Wi-Fi's solid, which matters if you're trying to get work done, and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn't wake up feeling like I'd been wrestling with a brick all night.
What really works about this place is that it sits in that sweet spot between a proper hotel and an Airbnb. You get the reliability and cleanliness of a hotel – housekeeping shows up, there's someone at the front desk if things go sideways – but without all the unnecessary frills that jack up the price. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me; it's not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers on what it promises. I've stayed in plenty of places with more stars that left me way more frustrated. The staff actually seems to know what's going on around the neighborhood too, which is rarer than it should be. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises with fees, and the whole experience just felt... easy, I guess? Sometimes that's exactly what you need when you're dealing with the chaos of travel. If you're looking for something that feels more like a temporary home base than a hotel room, and you don't need a concierge or room service, this place definitely gets the job done.

Species room - in a very good location. It is close to super markets , cafes and restaurants. The loft has everything that we needed. Had a a great time during our visit
The location was good and close to transportation. Daniel was friendly and helpful.
By a small mistake we ended up staying in the bigger appartment downstairs instead of the one in the pictures. The apartment had a lot of space and the kitchen had everything you need. It's located by different bus stops and other public transport options so you are in the centre of Berlin in no time! The bed was big and comfortable and there's also other options like a couch or pull out sofa to sleep on.
Very well situated close to public transportation. The mini loft is inside a courtyard and is therefore very quiet. Well furnished with all you need. Communication with the owners was very responsive and smooth
Quite spacious, very warm, ideal city apartment and convenient for shops, underground stations and the airport.
Close to public transport, spacious, has all appliances
Great location, friendly host. Very secure. Quiet in the back house
There's everything a small family needs for staying. Public transport, supermarkets are on the vicinity. Feels secure.
Perfect place for a couple to explore the city. The host is friendly and ready to help when needed.
everything was just perfect
