Check-in was smooth (no weird hidden fees or awkward upselling), and the front desk guy actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give me solid recommendations that weren't just the obvious tourist traps. What really won me over, though, was the little stuff you don't notice until you've stayed at a bunch of places. There's decent soundproofing too, so you're not listening to every conversation in the hallway.
