Premier Inn Berlin Airport
About
Look, I'll be honest – when I first heard "Premier Inn Berlin Airport," I was expecting another soul-crushing airport hotel where you crash for a few hours before your connection. But this place actually surprised me in a good way. It's got that clean, no-nonsense British chain vibe that Premier Inn does well, but there's something refreshingly straightforward about it that works perfectly when you're dealing with travel fatigue.
The thing that struck me right away was how quiet it is, considering you're literally at one of Europe's busiest airports. I mean, you can hear the occasional plane if you really listen, but it's more of a distant hum than anything disruptive – honestly, the air conditioning was louder than the aircraft noise. The rooms are what you'd expect from a solid 3-star place: those signature Premier Inn beds that are actually pretty decent (I'm picky about mattresses), decent-sized windows, and a bathroom that's small but functional. Nothing fancy, but everything works, which is honestly all you want when you're either catching an early flight or you've just landed after a long haul.
What really won me over was the practical stuff that matters when you're traveling. Check-in was quick – no standing around for twenty minutes while they "find your reservation." The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, not just in the lobby like some places. And here's something I didn't expect: the restaurant stays open later than most airport hotels, which is clutch if you land at 9 PM and haven't eaten since breakfast. The food's decent too – not gourmet, obviously, but proper comfort food that hits the spot. I had their fish and chips, and you know what, it was exactly what I needed after a day of airport sandwiches. The staff seems to get that most guests are either stressed about catching flights or exhausted from traveling, so they're efficient without being rushed. There's also 24-hour reception, which sounds basic but you'd be surprised how many places skimp on that. If you're driving, parking is straightforward and included, though the lot fills up during peak travel seasons – I learned that the hard way during Oktoberfest weekend. The 8.6 rating makes sense to me; it's not trying to be the Ritz, but it does exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. Perfect for what it is.

Close to airport, new building, rooms were small but very clean. Parking against payment in hotels private garage was also very convenient. Overall hotel is very good.
Good client service and without language barrier
I like everything of the property.
Bedroom was quite comfortable for solo traveller like myself. Close to S bahn station - approx 7 or 8 mins walk, but it's quite closer to Berlin airport -( 3 stops) than the city ( approx 30 mins travel which I didn't mind). Went to the city every day re many historical places and something to eat as well. Aldi shop nearby for breakfast and stuff that I might need. Reasonable prices - good value for money. Food was fair (nothing to talk about it) - just barely except for tomato soup, which was quite lovely and tasty.. Would return again when I get the chance to visit Berlin again.
Staff in reception wery friendly, privided all information, we are wery happy, to stay in the hotell, everything is 10/10 😉 Strong recomended.
Had a lovely stay and everything is clean!
On that night, the hotel was pretty empty. The room was big, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom as well.
Simple but affordable and comfortable hotel room.
Close to the BER airport, within walking distance from the S-bahn station that takes one to both the airport and city center. Room is spacious and clean with modern lighting.
The staff were friendly. It was very clean, and the facilities were more than adequate for that price.
