Studio Apartment Berlin
About
You know what caught me off guard about this place? I was expecting some cramped Berlin studio situation – you know how these "apartment" listings can be misleading – but Studio Apartment Berlin actually delivers on what it promises. The space feels lived-in but not worn down, if that makes sense. There's this comfortable, unpolished authenticity that you don't get in those sterile hotel chains.
The location is honestly one of those Berlin gems where you're close enough to everything that matters but tucked away from the tourist chaos. I mean, you can walk to proper neighborhood spots – the kind of cafés where locals actually hang out reading newspapers at 2 PM on a Tuesday. The building itself has that solid, post-war Berlin architecture that's become sort of iconic, though don't expect Instagram-perfect facades. What you will get is thick walls (thank god, because Berlin can be loud) and surprisingly good natural light. The studio setup is smartly designed – whoever put this together actually thought about how people live, not just how spaces photograph. The kitchen area isn't just for show; you can actually cook a proper meal without bumping into the bed every five seconds.
Here's the thing that really won me over: the host seems to genuinely care about the experience without being overbearing about it. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no awkward small talk, just the information you need and then you're left to settle in. The WiFi actually works (I know, revolutionary concept), and there are those small touches that suggest someone who's traveled themselves set this up. Extra phone chargers, decent coffee, a proper shower with water pressure that doesn't make you question your life choices. Honestly, after staying in places where the "kitchenette" is basically a hot plate balanced on a prayer, this felt like luxury. The 9.5 rating isn't just inflated review scores – people genuinely seem to leave happy, and I get why. It's not trying to be something it's not, which in a city like Berlin, feels pretty authentic.

Super cean, stylish, eye for detail. Great kitchen with all you need, nice bathroom, great dining table and a small one in the kitchen. Bed was good, enough power outlets etc. All well done. . Located in nice quiet part of Friedrichshain, tram close by so is REWE. Restaurants and S-Bahn also easily within reach. Very comfortable and totally worth it. Would come again.
Once again, I booked this flat in Berlin for my mother, and she loved it just as much as the first time! The apartment is cozy, well-maintained, and in a fantastic location, making it perfect for her visits. Communication with the host was smooth and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was effortless. It's always a pleasure booking this place — highly recommended!
It was very spacious, clean and well equipped
Location was perfect - lots of great facilities nearby including supermarket/cafes etc
Excellent location and very friendly communication
Super location! Coolest neighborhood in Berlin in our opinion:) Nice little cafes, restaurants and bars all around, while being relatively calm and quiet at the same time. The apartment had everything one would possibly need. Communication with Oliver was quick and smooth. Thank you!
Amazing location, great host and wonderful apartment.
The apartment was incredibly clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The apartment had resources for every need, and was spacious, very open, naturally lit, and all around just a wonderful place to stay.
Great location. Stylish furnishings
The location was perfect for us - close to friends, not far from boxi. The appartement was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great and it all felt like it had been put together with care, as opposed to some of the clearly as cheap as possible things I’ve seen in some more expensive rentals before.
