Stylish New Cube Loft II by Berlin-Wall-Apartments
About
You know what caught me off guard about this place? The name makes it sound all corporate and sterile, but honestly, this cube loft has way more personality than I expected from a 3-star spot. I mean, when I first walked in, the whole industrial-chic thing actually works – exposed brick, concrete floors that somehow feel cozy instead of cold, and these massive windows that flood the space with light during the day.
The loft setup is pretty clever, actually. They've maximized every inch without making it feel cramped, which is no small feat in Berlin where space costs a fortune. The kitchen area has everything you'd actually use (not just a sad mini-fridge and broken coffee maker like some places), and the sleeping area upstairs feels surprisingly private even though it's technically all one space. What I really appreciated was the attention to small details – proper blackout curtains (crucial if you're dealing with jet lag), decent water pressure in the shower, and outlets exactly where you need them. The Wi-Fi was solid too, which matters when you're trying to figure out U-Bahn routes or make dinner reservations.
Location-wise, you're in a neighborhood that feels authentically Berlin without being touristy – I could hear the trams in the morning, but it wasn't disruptive, more like a gentle reminder that the city's waking up around you. There's something satisfying about staying somewhere that locals actually live and work, you know? The check-in process was smooth (they send you codes ahead of time, so no awkward lobby waiting), and while parking isn't included, street parking wasn't impossible to find in the evenings. I'll be honest, the 9.1 rating initially made me skeptical – seems almost too good – but after spending a few nights there, I get it. It's not luxury, but it's thoughtfully done in a way that makes you feel like you're living in the city rather than just visiting it. Perfect for people who want character without paying boutique hotel prices.
Visitors often choose Berlin apartments over traditional hotels because they provide more space, kitchen facilities, and the opportunity to live like a local in this magnificent German capital.

Nicce amenities
Great location, 5 minutes walk to the underground. Lots of places to eat in the immediate area. Easy 10 minute walk to the Berlin Wall Memorial. The apartment has every thing you could need and is extremely clean and comfortable.
Everything about the property was a step above what I had expected (and I already had relatively high expectations). Totally clean, larger than I thought and nice touches like a cold beer in the fridge and teabags provided. Location was great, close to S and U and within walking distance of everything I needed.
The place is very cozy and just the right size.
The apartment had a wonderful aesthetic to it, clean and easy to access. Half of the time i forgot that i was on the ground floor. Bed was comfortable and the sofa was wonderful. Kitchen was simple to use with a great window. Bathroom was splendid and had heated Floors. It was very easy to access grocery stores and cafe's. Expect to pay handsomely eat in these Restaurants.
Very clean, had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.
