SUITE & APART
About
I'll be honest – when I first walked up to SUITE & APART on Elisabethkirchstraße, I wasn't expecting much from the outside. It's tucked into this narrow street in Mitte that most tourists probably walk right past, but that's actually part of what makes it great. You're literally a three-minute walk from Rosenthaler Platz U-Bahn station, which means you can get anywhere in Berlin without dealing with the chaos of staying right on Unter den Linden or something.
The whole setup here is different from your typical hotel – it's more like having your own little Berlin apartment, which I mean, makes sense given the name. The suites actually feel like spaces where people live, not those sterile hotel boxes where everything's bolted down. You'll find proper kitchenettes (not just a mini-fridge and sad coffee maker), and honestly, after a few days of German breakfast spreads, you might appreciate being able to make your own coffee the way you like it. The apartments vary quite a bit – some face the street where you'll hear the occasional tram rumble by, others look into quieter courtyards. If you're a light sleeper, definitely mention your preference when booking because Mitte can get lively on weekend nights.
What really won me over was how the staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about getting to the Museum Island, they didn't just point toward Alexanderplatz like most places – they told me about the walking route through the old Jewish quarter that takes maybe fifteen minutes and passes some incredible street art. You know what else? They keep the building entrance understated (there's just a small sign), which means you're not constantly dealing with lost tourists asking for directions. The 8.2 rating makes sense once you've stayed here – it's not trying to be the Ritz, but for what it is, they've nailed it. The cleaning staff is thorough, the internet actually works for video calls, and check-in was smooth even when I arrived early on a Sunday. If you want to feel like you're living in Berlin rather than just visiting it, and you don't need someone to carry your bags or turn down your bed, this place gets it right.

Lıvely stay at the heart of the city.
Great location ( every necessity is within reach), comfortable room with satisfactory equipments, the hosts were very helpful and easily reachable. A very pleasant stay overall.
The stairs :)
Great location. Very nice owner. Good apartment.
Great location. Very friendly and helpful owner. Nice building and nice apartment. It comes with a certain price tag, but in the end it is worth it.
Could have been a little bit nicer furnished when taking the relatively costly rent into consideration. A higher quality mattress would have been nice, too. Besides that all fine. Many thanks!
Very enjoyable. Successful
Location is excellent. House manager was helpful and available. Friendly environment in the house. Room was well organised and equipped. Nights were quiet despite being downtown. Shower was excellent. Washer/ dryer adequate. Supermarket 2 minutes walk. Cafe, restaurants, bakery all close. Memorial of Berlin Wall, deeply moving.
Floor cleaning equipment could be newer. Mitte is a dusty place.
Great!
The Management team were very professional and very friendly and understanding. Thanks very much.
Great location, too much noise in the building during the night.
The location is great, specially because a good-quality supermarket is just around the corner. Christian and other personnel we met were nice and solicitous.
The noise. At all hours of the night there was noise coming from the hallways throughout our month-long stay. Also, a cleaning was promised every two weeks, but in one month there was only one
I was warmly and kindly welcomed; everything was as described. A very pleasant house in a good area.
Super friendly staff.
Excellent location with good heating, beautiful bathroom
Location and functionality of the apartment was amazing, it worked well for someone who just moved to Berlin and needed a short stay to sort out things. I also especially like Volker, the building manager. He is always very cheerful and helpful!
None that I can think of but it is important to note that this is not wheelchair-friendly.
