TempMents
About
First Impressions
Walking up to TempMents, you immediately notice how it sits quietly on Regattastraße — there's something refreshingly understated about this three-star hotel that caught me off guard. The building has this modern, clean-lined aesthetic that doesn't try too hard, which honestly feels like a breath of fresh air in a city where some hotels can be a bit over the top. You know what struck me most? The way they've managed to create something that feels both contemporary and welcoming without falling into that sterile, corporate trap.
Location & Neighborhood
Here's the thing about Treptow-Köpenick — it's one of those Berlin districts that locals love but tourists often overlook, and that's exactly what makes staying here so appealing. You're positioned right along the water, which means morning walks along the Spree are basically mandatory (trust me on this one). The area has this laid-back, residential vibe that gives you a real sense of how Berliners actually live, rather than just the tourist bubble. Getting into central Berlin is straightforward enough, but honestly, you might find yourself wanting to explore the neighborhood's cafés and waterfront paths more than you expected.
The Rooms
The rooms at TempMents strike that sweet spot between functional and comfortable — they're not trying to be something they're not, which I actually appreciated. Everything feels thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together, from the clean lines of the furniture to the way natural light fills the space during the day. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I'm picky about this), and there's enough storage space that you won't be living out of your suitcase. What I liked most was how quiet everything felt, even with the windows open — apparently being slightly off the main tourist track has its perks.
Amenities & Service
The staff here seem to genuinely care about making your stay work, which sounds simple but isn't always a given. They're knowledgeable about the local area in a way that goes beyond just pointing you toward the obvious attractions — I got some great restaurant recommendations that I never would have found otherwise. The hotel keeps things streamlined rather than overwhelming you with amenities you don't need, though everything they do offer works well. There's reliable WiFi throughout (essential for staying connected), and the common areas have this relaxed atmosphere where you can actually unwind.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel like a discovery rather than just another hotel booking. Couples especially seem drawn to the combination of the peaceful waterside location and the easy access to both nature and city life — there's something romantic about having the Spree practically at your doorstep. The 8.4 rating reflects what you experience: solid comfort, genuine hospitality, and that rare feeling that you've found somewhere special without paying through the nose for it. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back to Berlin, partly just to stay here again.

Very clear lovely surroundings
Key can be left in the nearby safe box. Tram & bus stop is just few meters away, easy access to city and airport. Located by the river within bigger estate, nice place for evening (or any time) walk, there is also forest nearby. Grocery shop, pizzeria and pharmacy is very close.
Good location, quiet neighbourhood. Cozy place
Great neighborhood with nice Italian restaurant and great bakery/bistro for brunch.
Apartment was exactly same as on pictures. It was very clean and comfortable.
Lovely large modern apartment
The apartment development is architecturally beautiful and well located for the tram. A choice of great ‘spielplatz’ if you have kids and multiple cafes doing good coffee. You can walk to Grunau S Bahn too if you fancy a nice stroll. Loved that there’s a coffee pod machine. Super comfy mattress and well equipped kitchen for cooking.
The apt is very clean n close to the tram stop. All the teams are very helpful when there is question. We thank you for providing us with the anti slip bath mate 🙂
Clean, lovely apartment! Great stay, really comfy bed and nice shower etc. Tram right outside the apartment and around 15 mins to Kopenick where you can get lovely food/drinks before heading into the city.
The apartment is located about 40 min outside the centre of Berlin, however, Kopenick distric is very quiet, green, actually perfect place for living. Beautifully designed apartment with everything you need. Very comfortable bed, nice lighting, kitchen with dish washer and washing machine. Tram stop at the door and Aldi shop around the corner. If you dont want to cook, there 2 pizzerias next door and nice spot for your morning coffee and pastries. I was happy that we chose this apartment!
