Thomas Apartments
About
You know what caught me off guard about Thomas Apartments? It's one of those places that doesn't try to be fancy, but somehow gets all the basics so right that you end up really appreciating it. I mean, when you hear "3-star apartment hotel," you're probably not expecting much – but honestly, this place punches way above its weight class.
The first thing you notice walking in is how quiet everything feels, which is actually pretty rare these days. The lobby's got this lived-in comfort to it, sort of like staying at a well-organized relative's place rather than some sterile hotel chain. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that pushy upselling or complicated key card explanations. The staff genuinely seemed to know the neighborhood too, which I always appreciate. When I asked about decent coffee nearby, the desk clerk didn't just point me to the nearest Starbucks (thank god) but actually recommended this little local spot that turned out to be perfect for morning walks.
The apartments themselves are where Thomas really shines though. Mine had this solid, unpretentious feel – good water pressure, reliable WiFi, and a kitchen that's actually functional instead of just decorative. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and I'm someone who usually tosses and turns the first night anywhere new. What I really loved was the attention to small details that matter when you're staying somewhere for more than just a night or two. Plenty of outlets in useful spots, decent lighting for reading, and – this might sound weird – but the closet space was actually generous enough that I could unpack properly. The whole place has this slightly worn-in quality that feels homey rather than shabby, if that makes sense.
Honestly, the 7.9 rating makes total sense once you've been there a few days. It's not trying to wow you with marble bathrooms or rooftop pools, but everything just... works. The kind of place where you find yourself settling into a routine pretty quickly. I'd definitely stay here again, especially if I needed somewhere comfortable for a longer visit. Sometimes the best hotels are the ones that don't feel like hotels at all, you know?

Location Clean and well equipped
Great value, nice and clean place. Great location. Would definitely book again.
Very large apartment and good location.
Apartment is located near the metro station (less than 10min) and has good connection to the city center. It is very spacious, comfortable, modern, clean and the price is very good for what you get. It’s located on the ground floor and has access to patio from kitchen, but no private terase. Bathrooms are recently renovated. Land lord let us in the apartment earlier so that was a really nice gesture. There is a good working free wifi.
The location is really great! It's in a fun, cool neighborhood with lots to do. It's a really big space great for groups.
The interior was clean and satisfactory
Great location in a cool neighbourhood
