Aparthotel Adagio Berlin Kurfürstendamm
About
You know what struck me first about the Aparthotel Adagio on Lietzenburger Straße? It's got this perfect sweet spot location that most tourists completely miss. I mean, you're literally a five-minute walk from Ku'damm's shopping madness, but the street itself is actually quiet enough that you can sleep with the windows cracked open – which is honestly a minor miracle in Berlin.
The aparthotel concept really works here, and I say this as someone who's stayed in way too many cramped European hotel rooms. Each unit has a proper kitchenette with a full-size fridge, which became my best friend during my week there. There's a Rewe supermarket just around the corner on Kantstraße, and honestly, being able to grab some decent German bread and coffee for morning instead of paying hotel breakfast prices was clutch. The apartments themselves feel more like someone's well-designed flat than a hotel room – the kind of place where you can actually spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The Wi-Fi is solid (I was working remotely), and the little dining area by the window made for a surprisingly pleasant workspace.
What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to actually know the neighborhood. The front desk guy – I think his name was Marcus – pointed me toward this incredible Lebanese place on Bleibtreustraße that I never would've found otherwise, and he was spot-on about which U-Bahn entrance to use for avoiding the construction chaos near Uhlandstraße. The building itself is modern without being sterile, though I'll be honest, the elevator is a bit slow when everyone's checking in around 3 PM. But here's the thing about the location that most reviews don't mention – you're perfectly positioned between the tourist zone and actual Berlin life. Walk east toward Savignyplatz and you're in proper local territory with great wine bars and that amazing Saturday market. Walk west and you hit the KaDeWe and all that tourist stuff, which, let's face it, you probably want to see anyway. The S-Bahn connections are fantastic too; I was getting to Mitte in fifteen minutes and Prenzlauer Berg in twenty. Plus there's something satisfying about staying in Charlottenburg – it feels like you're experiencing the Berlin that locals actually live in, not just the Instagram version. The 8.5 rating makes total sense to me; it's not trying to be flashy or luxury, it's just really good at being exactly what it is.

Comfortable, central, and excellent service!
Comfortable, central, and excellent service! We stayed at Adagio Kurfürstendamm Apart Hotel during our trip to Berlin and had a truly wonderful experience. The room was very comfortable and ideal for a longer stay. Since it’s an apart hotel, it was a big advantage to be able to cook whatever we wanted — the kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary utensils and appliances. Cleanliness and location were also great, with easy access to many places in the city. What really made our stay special, however, was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. We would like to sincerely thank Hossein and Catherina in particular — both were extremely helpful, friendly, and solution-oriented. They made us feel truly welcome and their support made our stay even more enjoyable. If we visit Berlin again, we would definitely choose this place once more. Thank you, Adagio team!

Superb
We had a great experience here. The room was modern and comfortable with a nice little kitchen. For Berlin, this is very good value. We parked the car for free about 1km away which was great. Its quiet and a good location for getting to great cafes and interesting attractions. Excellent reception staff and great facilities. I highly recommend this place and likely this whole chain. It was my first experience with it and I would seek it out again in different cities.
Its quite a small space so we put up the murphy bed sometimes and had to clean the floor underneath. This is an easy fix and they should assume that people may want to do that because otherwise you really have nowhere to sit and eat a meal. There was a lack of chairs and table to eat, but we made it work with a desk once we had space. Perhaps stools for the counter would be a solution. I would stay here again for sure.
Very good
Good room with everything you need.
Exceptional
Everything was good
Stylish and comfortable in chic Charlottenburg!
Convenient to various public transport routes, this quiet hotel offers beautifully designed rooms and provides everything you would need for self-catering. Staff were friendly and helpful and there are good common facilities, such as table tennis and a gym.
Everything was great, but here are a few suggestions: - for people arriving late at night, it would be great if the receptionist could be paged directly from outside - it would be nice if there was a tall stool at the breakfast bar in the room
