The apartment itself feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I appreciated. There's this sense that real people have actually spent time here, not just passing tourists. This is very much an apartment experience, which means you're sort of fending for yourself. But that also means you can spread out, cook your own meals if you want, and not feel like you're living out of a suitcase for however long you're in town. The neighborhood has that authentic Berlin vibe where you'll see actual families doing grocery shopping rather than just tourists taking selfies. There's a decent bakery within walking distance that locals actually use (always a good sign), and I noticed the public transport connections are pretty solid once you figure out the system. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you're driving – typical for Berlin, really – but it's manageable if you're patient. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're planning to stay more than just a couple nights and want to feel like you're experiencing Berlin rather than just visiting it.
