During my stay in early spring, the heating worked perfectly, though I imagine summer might get a bit warm since there's no AC – but then again, most Berlin places don't have it anyway. The whole experience just felt authentic, like staying at a friend's place who happens to have excellent taste and knows how to make guests comfortable without overthinking it.
