The soundproofing is pretty good too, which matters because Bundesallee can get busy during rush hour. I stayed here during one of Berlin's random late-spring cold snaps, and the heating was spot-on without being that dry, overheated hotel air you usually get. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no lengthy explanations of amenities I'll never use. The staff clearly knows the neighborhood well; they pointed me toward this little wine bar on Kantstraße that I never would've found otherwise. The 8.4 rating makes sense when you think about it – it's not trying to be the fanciest place in Berlin, but it delivers on what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. It's the kind of place where you actually unpack your suitcase instead of living out of it for three days.
