Apartment Fancy
About
You know what struck me first about Apartment Fancy? The name is actually pretty spot-on – it's not trying to be some grand hotel, but it definitely has this polished, upscale apartment vibe that works really well. I mean, you're right on Bundesallee, which honestly is one of those Berlin streets that feels properly residential but still has everything you need within walking distance.
The location is actually brilliant if you know Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf at all. You're sort of nestled between the more touristy Charlottenburg area and the grittier parts of the city, which gives you the best of both worlds. There's this great little Turkish bakery about two blocks down that locals queue up at every morning – you'll smell the fresh bread from pretty far away. The U-Bahn connections are solid too, though I'd say grab a day pass because you'll want to explore beyond just this neighborhood. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare during weekday mornings (all those office workers), but evenings and weekends aren't too bad if you circle the block once or twice.
What really sets this place apart is how they've managed to keep that apartment feel while still giving you proper hotel services. The rooms actually feel like someone's well-appointed flat rather than a generic hotel box – there's decent counter space in the kitchenette area, and honestly, the coffee setup is better than what I have at home. The soundproofing is pretty good too, which matters because Bundesallee can get busy during rush hour. I stayed here during one of Berlin's random late-spring cold snaps, and the heating was spot-on without being that dry, overheated hotel air you usually get. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no lengthy explanations of amenities I'll never use. The staff clearly knows the neighborhood well; they pointed me toward this little wine bar on Kantstraße that I never would've found otherwise. The 8.4 rating makes sense when you think about it – it's not trying to be the fanciest place in Berlin, but it delivers on what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. It's the kind of place where you actually unpack your suitcase instead of living out of it for three days.

Very good
Great value for money
Great stay for good money in Berlin
Great position, super clean, fully equipped. Wifi working perfectly and nice host
Little old the furniture and the building is not the most clean but still safe
Superb
Good location, close to the metro. Price-quality ratio is very good. We had 2 comfy rooms for each couple and well equipped kitchen. Owner is very kind and helpful. I surely recommend.
One issue was mold in the coffee machine. It's s not a problem for me, because I don't drink any coffee, but I know it can be drama for the others.
Good
The apartment was clean, practical and spacious - we appreciated the flexibility of the self-catering facilities.
We were moved a day before we travelled to a different place as the Apartment Fancy needed repair, which generally met most of our key original expectations except that it was in a slightly less convenient location. Some advertised features of Apartment Fancy were not present at the replacement accommodation, and in particular it was not possible to leave our luggage there before or after check-in, which caused us some inconvenience.
Great value for the location
The apartment is located next to subway station and had all the amenities for a short stay it is clean and equipped.

Incredibly central and well-furnished, impeccably clean flat and kind, helpful staff!
Fully furnished flat for a really amazing price in a central location in Berlin. As an ex-Berliner I was pleasantly surprised at every turn. The staff responsible for the welcoming and orientation was super friendly and helpful, I couldn’t recommend this more!
