Apartment Prenzlauer Berg
About
First Impressions
Walking up to Apartment Prenzlauer Berg on Rietzestraße, you immediately get the sense that this isn't your typical hotel experience. The building sits quietly in one of Berlin's most charming neighborhoods, and honestly, that's exactly what makes it special. This four-star property feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend's place than checking into a standard hotel — which, given that 9.3 rating, clearly works for most people.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Prenzlauer Berg is one of those areas where you actually want to spend time wandering around, not just rushing back and forth to tourist sites. The cobblestone streets here are lined with independent cafes, vintage shops, and that particular Berlin mix of pre-war architecture and creative energy. You're close enough to Mitte that you can easily reach the main attractions, but far enough away that you'll experience how locals actually live. I mean, there's something pretty satisfying about grabbing your morning coffee from a neighborhood spot instead of a hotel lobby.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup here is what really sets this place apart from standard hotel room. You get actual living space — not just a bed crammed next to a tiny desk. The layout feels thoughtful, with enough room to actually unpack and settle in for a few days. What struck me most was how everything felt intentionally chosen rather than just hotel-standard furnishings. The kitchen area is genuinely functional too, which matters if you want to grab some groceries from the local markets and have a proper breakfast at home.
Why Couples Keep Coming Back
There's definitely something romantic about this setup — maybe it's the way the morning light hits those tall windows, or how you can cook dinner together after a day of exploring the city. The feedback about couples loving this place makes total sense when you're actually here. It's intimate without being cramped, and there's enough space for two people to coexist comfortably. Plus, Prenzlauer Berg has this relaxed evening vibe that's perfect for walking hand-in-hand back from dinner, past all those beautifully lit cafes and bars.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.3 rating isn't just about the apartment itself — it's about the whole experience of staying in this part of Berlin. You're not just visiting the city; you're actually living in it for a few days. The location gives you easy access to both the tourist highlights and the everyday Berlin that most visitors never see. When you can walk to excellent restaurant, hop on the U-Bahn to reach Museum Island, and still come home to a space that feels genuinely comfortable, well — that's when a trip stops feeling like just another hotel stay and starts feeling like a real experience.

Beautifully decorated apartment, friendly owner and easy check in, great location
This beautifully decorated apartment was spacious with comfy beds. There are restaurants, grocery stores, and the Greifswalder Str station was just minuets away (the train system is great to get to basically anywhere in Berlin!).
This is amazing apartment! The owner meet us inside and showed all around inside. 3 big beds - king size, comfortable pillows. Not far from apartment bus, train station. Easy to reach city centre. We definitely will stay again with this apartment next time.
The apartment was stunning and exceeded our expectations. Doreen was an excellent host and very helpful for check-in and providing information before our stay. The apartment is spacious, very clean, comfortable and in a great location. I would highly recommend staying here.
The size of the living room is impressive. There 2 couchs and a fire place. The decoration of the flat is very well made. There 2 supermarkets arrounds and you are at 3 mins of the tram M4 direct to down town (15 mins)
We came as team for 4 people to participate in Messe Berlin for a travel fair. The house is superb along with big dining cum living area. Its massive and it can accommodate easily 50 people for a dinner party. This place looks more royal from a gothic era with intriguing paintings and decor. There is one massive bathroom with all classiness of medieval era. The rooms are good enough to accommodate 2 people in each. There are 2 rooms and if you have more people, as i mentioned, it has a massive hall. we had a great time as we could host our clients for evening party and has amazing time chatting and discussing business in simmering lights and Beethoven music. Quite close to metro S Bahn and grocery store. well connected thru bus and other means of transport.
Very grand and interesting property in a great location for train and trams
Location was excellent everything and more, public transport was very handy.Supermarket lovely pizza place next door which my son loved.
Great apartment, extremely nicely decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The apartment is very large and within a few minutes walk of S Bahn, trams and buses. There's a reasonable supermarket close by and it's next door to a small Italian restaurant. The bedrooms are every bit as impressive as the host's photographs show.
