You know what? I wasn't sure what to expect from an apartment-style place in Neukölln, but Apartment Uthman actually surprised me in the best way. This neighborhood gets a bad rap sometimes, but honestly, it's become one of Berlin's most interesting areas – and you're right in the thick of it here. The whole vibe is way more authentic than staying in touristy Mitte, and I mean that in a good way.
The apartment itself feels like staying at a friend's place who actually has their life together. It's clean, thoughtfully set up, and has that lived-in comfort without being worn down. What I really appreciated was having a proper kitchen – not just a mini-fridge and kettle situation, but actual counter space and cookware that doesn't look like it survived three decades of abuse. The beds are solid (always a gamble with apartment rentals), and the Wi-Fi doesn't cut out every five minutes, which honestly puts it ahead of some four-star hotels I've stayed at. There's this nice natural light that comes through in the mornings, and the whole space just feels... well, homey without being cramped.
Location-wise, you're in the heart of what locals call "the real Berlin." Neukölln has this amazing energy – especially around Weserstraße and the Reuterstraße area – where you've got incredible Turkish food, vintage shops that aren't tourist traps, and bars that actually stay open late without charging €15 for a beer. The U-Bahn connections are solid too; you can get to Kreuzberg in minutes or hit the main tourist spots without too much hassle. I'll be honest though – this isn't the quietest neighborhood, especially on weekends when the street life really kicks in. But that's part of the charm, and the apartment's windows do a decent job keeping the noise manageable. Just don't expect complete silence if you're a super light sleeper. For the price point and the whole experience of staying somewhere that feels genuinely Berlin (not Berlin-for-tourists), Apartment Uthman hits that sweet spot where you get good value without sacrificing comfort.

Meals not provided but kitchen was fully adequate for preparing breakfasts and lunches. It was a single two room apartment in a larger building where at least most other apartments had "permanent" tenets. All we met were friendly and helpful. the neighborhood itself is clearly trendy but appealing to local families and the "younger set" rather than tourists. Always felt safe and welcome. Apartment itself was a very spacious main room (by European hotel standards) and bed was very comfortable for two. although it filled much of the smaller bedroom.

Location excellent as it was so near U Bahn and main shopping street
I liked the location. There are many things around ( groceries like Lidl, Aldi, edeka market and many asian/ African groceries, restaurants and bars. ...) the location is perfect. The staff i communicated with all along was the best in all, very responsive and fast in it. Sheets were clean and ironed . Check-in n out is contactless. Free parking in front from 15.00 to 8 am. Overall it was fine, just the old state and the boiler system
location was fine though noisy on saturday night with a drunk outside.
Die Wohnung ist im Hinterhaus. Der Eingang ist vom Hof aus über eine eigene Eignangstür mit einer (oder zwei?) Stufen. Es ist eine ruhige Straße in der Nähe des Böhmischen Viertels in Neukölln mit guter Anbindung an Öffis und vor allem reichlich Nextbikes rundherum zu Ausleihen
La ubicación estaba genial. Edificio muy tranquilo y no hacía nada de frío. Para ser un bajo era confortable. Los vecinos amables. Cerca del transporte público. En la cocina había de todo. Pasábamos poco tiempo pero se dormía bien y se estaba cómodo.
L'appartement est très bien situé à quelques pas du métro (qui nous conduisait en 20 minutes dans le centre de Berlin), d'un côté quartier très vivant et de l'autre petit village. L'ambiance de l'appartement est très cocooning (après des journées de marche, cela fait du bien), bien chauffé et bien équipé.

Die Unterkunft war einfach zu erreichen und befand sich in einer für uns guten Lage. Auch die Größe war für unsere Zwecke angemessen und hat alles beinhaltet, was wir gebraucht haben.
