Art’Appart Suiten – kontaktloser Check-In
About
You know what caught me off guard about Art'Appart Suiten? The whole contactless check-in thing actually works perfectly – and I'm someone who usually needs three attempts to use a hotel key card properly. I mean, there's something almost futuristic about walking up to your suite and just... getting in, without hovering around a front desk or making small talk with tired reception staff at midnight.
The suites themselves feel more like temporary apartments than typical hotel rooms, which honestly makes sense given the name. There's this lived-in quality that's hard to fake – proper kitchen setups where you can actually cook something more elaborate than instant noodles, and enough space that you're not constantly bumping into your travel companion's suitcase. The 4-star rating feels about right; it's polished without being stuffy, modern without trying too hard to impress you with unnecessary gadgets. What I really appreciated was how quiet everything stays, even when other guests are coming and going. The walls must be properly thick, because you're not hearing every conversation in the hallway or dealing with slamming doors at 6 AM.
The 8.4 rating makes complete sense once you've stayed there – it's one of those places that just gets the basics really, really right. Check-in is seamless (seriously, took me maybe two minutes), the suites are spotlessly maintained, and there's this refreshing absence of manufactured hotel atmosphere. No forced cheerfulness or overly branded everything, just a clean, comfortable space that feels like someone's well-appointed apartment. The only thing that might throw some people is if you're the type who likes having hotel staff readily available for every little question – the contactless approach means you're pretty much on your own, which I actually loved but could see being weird for travelers who prefer more hand-holding. Perfect for longer stays too, since you've got proper storage and living space instead of cramming everything into a standard room layout.

The place was amazing!! very clean and nice, just as in the pictures. The apartment was equipped with everything I needed: coffee machine, toaster, iron, hair dryer...etc. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet... There is a market on Sunday close to the place, which is nice to check out.. The staff let me check-in early, and it was very helpful! Thank you for that!! Also the digital check-in was pretty easy and convenient.
Location, clean, value for money, great communication
Nice, spacious apartment with groceries shops, restaurant and the U-bahn close by. Bed were comfortable. Kitchenette can be used to cook a simple meal.
The property is close to the subway station and the railway station (Charlottenburg). We reached the station directly from airport. Since we visited the Deutsche Opera we benefited from proximity to this. We could walk to Zoo one morning. There is nice large pedestrian street very close to the studio. The studio itself was clean, the kitchen was equipped with everything needed (no wine opener though). The bathroom was tiny but we could manage.
The room is nice and spacious. Checking in and out is very easy.
The location is excellent, very quiet at night even though it's super close to the city center. We felt very safe even at night, and there is a big shopping center right around the corner with tons of options for grocery stores, pharmacies, ... really anything you might need. S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations are very close by. And the farmer's market on Wednesdays and Saturdays right outside the door is a great bonus to get some fresh fruits, vegetables and baked goods. Getting the keys was super easy. I'd definitely stay here again.
Very calm surroundings, yet not far from anything. A small street market directly in front of the house give opportunity to shop nice food for lunch.
We had a coffee in the room and there is a excellent coffee shop close to the hotel where we had excellent breakfast. More over we had appointment with other friends located just 20 min working distance and was appreciated not to use other transportation
