FBApartments
About
You know what caught me off guard about FBApartments? The location is actually way better than you'd expect from the name – I mean, it sounds like some generic corporate housing, but it's right on Badstraße in the heart of Mitte, and honestly, that's prime Berlin real estate. The building itself has this understated thing going on, nothing flashy, but when you're literally walking distance from Museum Island and can grab amazing Turkish food at like 2am just down the street, you start to get why this place maintains that solid 8.3 rating.
The apartments themselves feel more like staying in a local's well-maintained flat than a typical hotel room. I was expecting standard hotel furniture, but there's actually character here – decent-sized windows that let in proper light (crucial during Berlin's gray months), and the kitchenettes are functional enough that you can avoid the tourist trap restaurants if you want. The neighborhood really makes it though. Badstraße puts you in this sweet spot where you're close enough to the touristy stuff but still in an area where actual Berliners live and work. You'll hear the U-Bahn rumbling by occasionally, but it's more comforting than annoying – like the city's heartbeat, you know? Plus, being in Mitte means you can walk to most places during the day and hop on public transport easily when your feet give out.
What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to actually know the area – not just the obvious recommendations but practical stuff like which late-night pharmacy stays open or where to find decent coffee before 8am (harder than it should be in Berlin, honestly). The four-star rating feels about right; it's not trying to be the Adlon, but everything works properly, the WiFi doesn't cut out during video calls, and housekeeping actually pays attention to details. I mean, you're not getting marble bathrooms or a concierge in a tailored suit, but you are getting a clean, comfortable base in one of Berlin's most walkable neighborhoods. For the price point in this part of the city, that's honestly pretty solid – especially if you're the type who'd rather spend money on experiences than thread counts.

Superb
We liked apartment and cleanliness.it was really spacious and have all the amenities that a family with kids need also very good games and toys. It's also very near to all the major attractions.
The elevator was not working during our stay. With big luggages common among family with kids, it was difficult to carry them to 5 th floor. The way to the car parking inside the apartment was little narrow and not easy to put bigger cars, suvs.
Very good
Good, clean apartment in very well connected area. Very good contact with the host.
Building elevator is moody sometimes.
Very good
Open space, large rooms, plenty of sleeping space
Broken elevator
Awesome! Had a great time with the family here.
Breakfast was DIY, there are supermarkets around as well as a very good turkish bakery right next door. Especially Börek, Pide and the Sweets were amazing. U-Bahn Station Pankstr. just around the corner, Railway Station with big Shopping Center "Gesundbrunnen" 10 min walking distance. Apartment itself was clean, well kept up and did work well for our group of 10. City center is very easy to get to, the U8 from Pankstr. goes directly to Alexanderplatz, the S-Bahn from Gesundbrunnen right under the Brandenburg Gate, Friedrichstr. to Potsdamer Platz.
Dislike is not really the point, more of a heads up: As expected there kitchen wasn´t overly equipped. As I like to cook dinner, it was a bit of improvising involved. Nothing bad, just be aware that it might make sense bring some knives and cooking equipment if you like to cook. Other point (also no blame for the host here): Parking is not very easy in Berlin. As parking space is scarce and we had two cars, we agreed on parking one car outside. This can be done either with parking the car further in the outskirts, were parking is free of charge or park via app in the adjacent roads. This adds up quickly. Other option: Daily parking in the Gesundbrunnen Center for 15 Euro, night parking for free on the streets. Best Option: Come without a car, public transportation in Berlin in splendid.

The location is good
Superb
Clean, spacious, comfortable.
Superb
The apartment was great. It was located fairly close to every public transport we used. We were a friend group of 10 people but we could accommodate ourselves easily. There were enough towels and bed sheets. Every facility worked without a problem. All in all we could not have asked for more for 2 nights.
A microwave might be the only thing missing from the kitchen. Some windows are old, so didn't seal perfectly and a bit difficult to close but still manageable.
Spacious place to spend with family in Berlin
The spacious room & the equipment
The building is a bit old
Superb
Very big apartments. We lived 10 person anr everyone had place.
There was little lighting at the dining table in the evening. There was only 1 garbage bag. There was no washing powder or washing capsules (not 1).
Great apartment in Berlin.
Big apartments, great location, cosy beds, host always ready to help. Equipped kitchen with very good coffee machine. A lot of restaurants and shops nearby.
Only one bathroom in apartment, shower with curtains is not very convenient.
