Casa Frida – Business flat near BER, kitchen, bathroom, balcony, workspace
About
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Casa Frida – Business flat near BER, kitchen, bathroom, balcony, workspace, 24″ Monitor, Wifi, SmartTV, Netflix, car park, I'll admit the name made me chuckle — it's basically a complete inventory of what you're getting. But you know what? That's actually refreshing in a world of vague hotel descriptions. This three-star property sits quietly on Normannenstraße in Treptow-Köpenick, and honestly, the straightforward approach extends to everything about the place. It's clean, functional, and designed for people who need to get things done while staying somewhere that doesn't feel sterile.
Location & Getting Around
The Treptow-Köpenick district isn't exactly tourist central, but that's part of its charm. You're in a proper residential area of Berlin where locals actually live and work — I mean, you'll see people walking their dogs and heading to the bakery in the morning rather than crowds of sightseers. The proximity to BER airport is genuinely useful if you're flying in or out, and having free parking right on-site is honestly a game-changer in Berlin. I've stayed in plenty of places where you're circling blocks looking for a spot or paying through the nose for hotel parking.
The Space Itself
The room — well, it's really more like a compact apartment — surprised me with how thoughtfully laid out everything was. The kitchen isn't just a mini-fridge and microwave situation; you can actually cook a proper meal if you want to. The workspace setup caught my attention immediately — that 24-inch monitor isn't just for show, and the desk area feels like somewhere you could actually spend hours working without your back giving out. The balcony is small but pleasant enough for morning coffee, and the whole place has this lived-in comfort that makes you feel settled pretty quickly.
Why It Works for Couples
I can see why couples rate this place so highly — there's something nice about having your own little temporary home base rather than a standard hotel room. You can make breakfast together, spread out your stuff, and actually relax without feeling like you're camping out. The Netflix setup on the SmartTV means you can have proper downtime in the evenings, and the neighborhood has a few decent spots for dinner when you don't feel like cooking. It's not romantic in a fancy hotel way, but it's comfortable in a "let's just enjoy being somewhere together" way.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.3 rating makes perfect sense once you've stayed here — Casa Frida delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. The wifi actually works reliably (crucial for business travelers), everything's clean and functional, and you're not paying for amenities you don't need. Recent guests consistently mention the location rating of 8.5, and I think that speaks to how this area gives you a real slice of Berlin life rather than just another tourist bubble. It's the kind of place where you feel like you're staying somewhere rather than just sleeping somewhere, if that makes sense.

Casa Frida is a cosy and welcoming apartment. We had everything that we needed and felt like home. The apartments is well decorated and fully equipped. The bed was very comfy. The small balcony is perfect for a morning coffee in this quiet and safe neighbourhood of Berlin. It is not very close to the center of Berlin and still there is a bus station connecting to the S-ban just 150 meters from the place
I recently stayed at this wonderful apartment and had a fantastic experience. The apartment itself is clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a pleasant and convenient place to stay.
Everything was perfect
The price is good, the host is incredibly generous and nice. I have booked by mistake one night less and the host was kind enough to welcome me for one more night. The apartment is located in a nice quiet area, there is Netto close by, as well as bus stattion. The bed is comfy.
