Citadines Kurfürstendamm Berlin
About
You know what really struck me about Citadines Kurfürstendamm when I first walked in? It doesn't try to be something it's not. This place sits right on Olivaer Platz, and honestly, that's one of those spots in Charlottenburg that feels properly Berlin without being touristy about it. The building itself has this understated elegance – clean lines, lots of glass, but it actually fits the neighborhood instead of screaming "look at me." I mean, you're literally a two-minute walk from Kurfürstendamm's shopping chaos, but somehow Olivaer Platz stays relatively calm. The U-Bahn connection at Adenauerplatz is right there too, which saved me so much time getting around the city.
What I really appreciated was how they've set up the apartments – because that's what these really are, proper serviced apartments rather than hotel rooms. The kitchenettes actually work (I've stayed in places where the stovetop was basically decorative), and there's enough counter space to spread out your groceries from the little Edeka around the corner. The beds are seriously comfortable too – none of that European super-firm mattress situation that leaves you aching. Staff at reception were genuinely helpful, not just going through the motions. When I asked about the best way to get to Prenzlauer Berg for dinner, the guy actually drew me a little map showing which S-Bahn change would be fastest during rush hour. That kind of local knowledge matters.
The neighborhood itself is what really sells this place for me. You've got that perfect Charlottenburg vibe where it's residential enough to feel like you're living there, but Savignyplatz with all its restaurants and that brilliant Saturday market is maybe a ten-minute stroll. I'd grab coffee from the place on Grolmanstraße most mornings and walk back through the quiet side streets – you really get a sense of how Berliners actually live. Parking can be tricky if you're driving (street parking fills up fast), but honestly, you don't need a car from here. The breakfast spread was solid without being fancy – proper German bread, decent coffee, fresh fruit. Nothing revolutionary, but everything done well. Only minor complaint? The walls aren't super thick, so if you get neighbors who like late-night TV, you'll know about it. But that 8.8 rating makes total sense once you've stayed here – it's the kind of place that just works, day after day, without any drama.

Cozy, clean accommodation in a wonderful area, and friendly, helpful staff.
Cozy, clean accommodation in a wonderful area. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything was easily accessible, either by public transport or on foot
Nothing!
Great place, but I would recommend that you don’t come by car.
The rooms were very nice. The staff was also polite.
It was not written anywhere when I did the booking that the parking needs to be paid extra. Found about that at the property. Additionally, there is no guarantee that you will get a spot - the parking is very small, and also really tricky to get into as you need to take a lift with your car. Overall very confusing and misleading.
If not the overpriced staying …
The location is really cool like all the facilities inside
Cleaning for additional payment only. Not all the reception stuff is confident, except 2 guys receptionists speaking all the languages and solving all the questions

Better than expected!
Modern room, nice design, good bed, kitchen with all equipment. Functional air condition, nice view through windows which you can actually open.
Just nitpicking, maybe just one large blanket for two persons is not comfortable. And one person has no lamp for reading book.
Perfectly equipped apartment, comfortable and spacious stay
The hotel is beautiful and very well equiped. We stayed as a family of four in big apartment and we had everything we needed. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back!
Everything was perfect.
Exceptional
Beautiful neighborhood with various bus, U-Bahn and S-Bahn lines within 10 minutes walk. Lots of restaurants, cafes, and bakeries around as well as a grocery store. Very nice amenities and friendly staff.
It was a very convenient location, and the staff were very friendly - and always helpful.
The size, the facilities. The kitchen was very well equipped.
We could have had some long-life milk in little cartons. English people tend to drink tea rather than coffee first thing in the morning.
Very pleasant stay.
Confortable room with spacious bathroom and a functional little kitchen. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location near Ku-Damm.
We were there for 5 nights and there was no room cleaning nor towel changing included (They charge around 10 Euro extra if you want that service).
Exceptional
The facilities are great, and the room was cosy. We arrived early in the morning to leave our luggage, and luckily, our room was already ready. The staff is super friendly. The location is perfect!
