City-Apartment Spreeufer im Herzen Berlins
About
First Impressions
Walking up to City-Apartment Spreeufer im Herzen Berlins, you'll find yourself on a quiet residential street in Friedrichshain that feels authentically local — no tourist crowds here. The ground-floor entrance is understated, which I actually appreciated after dealing with some of the flashier places in Mitte. This three-star property sits right in one of Berlin's most creative neighborhoods, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering.
The Space
The apartment itself surprised me with how spacious it felt, especially for Berlin standards. You get a proper living area that doesn't feel cramped, and the kitchen is actually functional — not just a tiny corner with a hot plate like some places I've stayed. The whole setup works well if you're planning to spend more than just a night or two, since you can actually spread out and live a bit. The decor is modern without being sterile, and there's enough natural light coming through the windows to make the space feel welcoming.
Location & Neighborhood
Here's what I love about this spot — you're genuinely in the heart of Friedrichshain, which means you're surrounded by some of the city's best cafes and bars without the tourist markup. The Spree riverbank is literally a few minutes' walk away, and I found myself taking evening strolls along the water more often than I expected. You know what's great? The area has this perfect mix of local life and interesting spots to explore, plus you can easily hop on public transport to reach other parts of the city when you want to venture out.
Practical Considerations
Getting around from here is straightforward — the public transport connections work well, though you might want to grab a day pass if you're planning to explore beyond the immediate area. The building itself is quiet, which I appreciated since some Berlin accommodations can get pretty noisy with thin walls. There's decent parking nearby if you're driving, though honestly, you probably won't need a car much in this part of town. The whole setup feels more like staying in a local's place than a typical hotel room, which some people really prefer.
Why Guests Love It
I can see why couples rate this place so highly — there's something romantic about having your own little space in such a vibrant neighborhood, plus you can cook dinner together or just relax without feeling like you're in a generic hotel. The combination of being centrally located but on a peaceful street really works, and you get that sense of living like a local rather than just passing through. It's not trying to be fancy, but it delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable base in one of Berlin's most interesting areas.

Nice location, right next to the bus stop and 800m from Warschauer Strasse S Bahn Car parking in front of the door! Well equipped apartment & kitchen with everything you need (even books for children and spare pampers etc) Big bedrooms Nice soft beds Easy and very fast communication with the owner over the booking app.
It was very close to the East Side Gallery. It was far from all other sightseeing places but a good public transport helps us to reach all sites. The bus stop is located within a minute of walk!! The flat was clean and all equipped, Wi-Fi was sufficient for us use. The noise level from upstairs or the street is ignorable. Could part the car in the front of the entrance door easily.
Relatively close to main public transport and night life, easy access and clean, quite quiet in the night.
Convenient for bigger group. Parking available. Good communication with the owner.
Great for transport links, with plenty of shops and cafes local. Very clean with everything needed for a self catering stay.
This has a great location and 20mins walk to all the Bars and Restaurants - 10 mins to the Main train station. Ale & Barley was our fav bar. There was 5 of us and the apartment had everything we required and nothing was missing. You could walk to most places of interest. WIFI was very good and couldn`t find anything to find fault. Next year when we return as we came to watch Hertha and 47 will try to book this apartment again.
The property looked exactly how it does in the photos, it was a very convenient location and very well equipped for things such as cooking. The staff also gave quick and helpful responses when we had confusion about the safety door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Excellent public transport to several train stations in front of the building, small shops and nice restaurants around the corner. Clean and spacious, well equipped.
Location was fantastic!
Keys were there as expected. It was really helpful that a man who works there happened to be there and could help us with the lock on the parking - a little tight turn but all went well.
