Come Inn Berlin Kurfürstendamm
About
Look, I'll be straight with you about the Come Inn Berlin Kurfürstendamm – it's one of those places that grows on you once you figure out what it's actually about. When I first walked up to the building on Kurfürstendamm 180, honestly, I wasn't blown away by the exterior (it's pretty standard Berlin architecture), but here's the thing everyone misses: you're literally planted in the heart of Charlottenburg, which means you can walk to Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in about ten minutes, and the whole Ku'damm shopping strip is right outside your door. I mean, you've got department stores, cafes, and that slightly chaotic energy that makes Berlin feel alive – but without the tourist madness of Mitte.
The hotel itself is... well, it's proper 3-star territory, which actually works in its favor because they're not trying to be something they're not. The rooms are clean and functional – nothing fancy, but the beds are surprisingly comfortable and the WiFi actually works (you know how hit-or-miss that can be in Berlin hotels). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you're on one of the city's main drags. The windows do their job, and honestly, after spending days walking around the city, you'll sleep like a rock anyway. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful too – not just going through the motions, but actually giving decent recommendations for nearby restaurants that aren't tourist traps.
Here's what sold me on the place though: the location is absolutely perfect for exploring both the western and central parts of the city. You've got the U-Bahn right there (Adenauerplatz is super close), and I found myself using it as a base to hop over to Kreuzberg for dinner, then coming back to a neighborhood that actually winds down at night – which, let's be honest, sometimes you need that in Berlin. The area has this interesting mix of locals doing their shopping and enough international visitors that you don't feel completely out of place, but it's not overrun either. Plus, there's a solid Turkish place just around the corner that stays open late, and a proper German bakery where you can grab breakfast if the hotel's morning spread isn't doing it for you. Is it going to win any design awards? Definitely not. But for the price point and that 7.7 rating it's got, you're getting exactly what you'd hope for – a comfortable base in a genuinely good part of Berlin where you can actually experience the city instead of just passing through it.
Early hotels booking in Berlin is essential during major events like the Berlinale Film Festival, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city's renowned nightlife and cultural scene.

Highly recommended!
Very comfortable place to stay! Breakfast is really nice
Affordable, nice view, ok
Great view from the 6th floor where the breakfast room is.
It was overall ok given the price.
Clean, comfortable and well situated.
Breakfast was satisfactory but my dog couldn't come into the eating area. The location is ideal for many things, including getting the tram to other parts of the city. The neighbourhood itself, if you explore a little away from the main road, is quite charming and filled with little cafes and nice restuarants.
It looked a bit run down from the outside, and the lobby looks very dated, but the room was great and felt very up to date. It was also a bit hard to find depending on which way you're coming from because the road sort of forks off and continues at the same time, and the hotel is on the part that forks off.
Overall, it was good value for money and I would come back.
The location, good breakfast, the view from the dining terrace, clean towels every day.
The wifi could have been better. There were instances when it worked effortlessly and times when it was lagging a lot. Also, a fridge would be a nice addition to the rooms.
Good hotel if you get discounted price.
Excellent location, helpful staff, room was spacious and clean. Good view from breakfast area but don´t expect extra ordinary breakfast.
Decent breakfast although I expected much more options for breakfast. Also after 9:30 am they did not refill many items at breakfast, when asked for it, they said stuff is not available. Hotel needs renovation.
Great location, great breakfast, clean, big bathroom
Breakfast was great, a lot of different foods and beverages, fresh, and the staff was very kind. Also the breakfast room is on the top floor with terrace and great view. The hotel is on a top location - Olivaer platz with the bus stations just in the front of hotel and very well connected to all the parts of Berlin. I also liked the check-out until noon, so I managed to use the morning before leaving as well.
Very good

Very good
Very spacious rooms, great restaurant options in the area.
Very good
Great place, good room, friendly services.
The commercial outside is a great retro, with flair, but could be improved a little bit. Maybe a collaboration with subway, which is closed ?! Very tasty and friendly employees 😉
