Comfortable and Spacious Residence
About
First Impressions
The Comfortable and Spacious Residence isn't trying to be something it's not — and honestly, that's exactly what I loved about it. This three-star property sits quietly on Königstraße in Tempelhof-Schöneberg, and you know what? Sometimes you just want a place that delivers on its promises without any fuss. The building has that solid Berlin charm, nothing flashy, but there's something reassuring about walking up to a place that looks like it actually belongs in the neighborhood.
Location & Neighborhood
Tempelhof-Schöneberg is one of those areas that locals appreciate but tourists often overlook — which means you get authentic Berlin without the crowds. I mean, you're close enough to the action but far enough away that you can actually hear yourself think. The street itself is residential and calm, perfect for couples who want to explore the city during the day but come home to something peaceful. There's decent public transport nearby, and I noticed several cafes and local spots within walking distance that felt genuinely neighborhood-y, not tourist traps.
The Space
The room really does live up to the "spacious" part of the name. I've stayed in plenty of Berlin accommodations where you're practically sleeping in a closet, but this place actually gives you room to spread out your stuff and move around comfortably. The layout feels thoughtful — like someone actually considered how people use a space rather than just cramming in furniture. It's clean and functional without being sterile, and there are enough little touches that make it feel more like a temporary home than just another hotel room.
Practical Perks
Here's something that'll save you both money and headaches — they have free private parking on site. If you've ever tried to park in Berlin, you'll know this is basically gold. I watched other guests pulling up without that stressed look you usually get when you're circling blocks looking for a spot. The whole check-in process was straightforward too, no unnecessary complications or hidden fees that pop up later. Sometimes the best amenities are the ones that just work without making a big deal about themselves.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.5 rating makes perfect sense once you've been there — it's the kind of place that exceeds expectations by simply being really good at the basics. Couples seem to particularly appreciate the combination of space, quiet location, and that sense of having your own little corner of Berlin. Recent guests rated the location highly (8.6), and I can see why — you get that sweet spot of being connected but not overwhelmed. It delivers comfort and practicality in a way that actually enhances your Berlin experience rather than just providing a place to sleep.

Clean and well equipped apartment with everything you could possibly need for cooking and living for few days. There's an internal parking behind a bar (there's a remote controller for it with the keys), but it's also easy to park on the street since there's a lot of parking lots.
