Look, I'll be straight with you about this place – it's not going to blow your mind, but there's something genuinely appealing about how unpretentious it is. The Cosy Apartment sits on Schöneberger Straße, which honestly feels more authentic Berlin than some of the tourist-heavy areas you'll find closer to the actual Potsdamer Platz. I mean, you're still close enough to walk there in about fifteen minutes, but you get to stay in Kreuzberg where actual Berliners live and drink their morning coffee.
The apartment itself lives up to that "cosy" promise – it's small but thoughtfully arranged, with decent natural light if you get one of the units facing the courtyard. The building's got that classic Berlin character, you know, slightly worn around the edges but solid. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, especially considering you're in one of the city's liveliest districts. The street isn't a main thoroughfare, so you don't get the constant tram noise that can drive you crazy in other parts of Kreuzberg. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that overly formal hotel reception drama, just practical and efficient.
Here's what makes this spot actually worth considering: you're a five-minute walk from Mehringdamm U-Bahn station, which connects you to pretty much everywhere you'd want to go. But more importantly, you're right in the heart of what makes Berlin interesting. There's this excellent Turkish bakery just around the corner on Gneisenaustraße that locals queue up at every morning – honestly better than any hotel breakfast you'll get. The whole area comes alive in the evenings, with proper neighborhood bars and restaurants that haven't been sanitized for tourists yet. I found myself spending way more time just wandering the nearby streets than I expected, particularly along Bergmannstraße where there's this great mix of vintage shops and cafes that actually feel lived-in rather than Instagram-ready. The 7.2 rating makes sense – it's not luxury, and the WiFi can be a bit temperamental, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. If you want to experience Berlin like someone who actually lives here rather than just passing through, this little apartment does the job quite well.

Host’s response could have been better. Had to contact the host only through text/whatsapp. This property comes up when I filter with free parking. However, parking was not free and finding a parking spot was difficult

Very good location. Potsdam square can be reached on foot. Next to a large mall with parkhaus ( in case there are no parking spaces available near the house). The neighbourhood is nice. We did not meet the staff, but for all questions he is always on call and very helpful.
If you have a sensitive sleeper, this could be a problem. The flat has a direct door directly to the street (glass, like a shop window). For this reason, all traffic on the street is very audible. But this is not a problem if you have a sound sleep.

Great location, super responsive property manager, comfy bed. Restaurant and cafe nearby, close to transportation, easy walk to Potsdamer Platz. Really convenient and met all our needs!
Organized around two guests (we were a family of four) in terms of dishes and silverware. No mosquito nets so had to keep windows closed during dusk/evening which limited air circulation.

A casa é muito boa e bem equipada de eletrodomésticos. Apesar do apartamento ser no térreo, a rua é silenciosa. Poder estacionar o carro na rua sem risco de multa, também é um diferencial. Em geral, o custo-benefício foi ótimo!
Seria muito bom se houvessem mais pratos e talheres (faca, garfo e colher) no apartamento.

Zentrale Lage, Moderne Austattung, Großes Bad, unkomplizierte Abwicklung, Preis- Leistungsverhältnis für Berliner Verhältnisse sehr gut.
Wohnung ist im EG und die Tür ist direkt zur Straße ebenso die Fenster. Es fehlt ein Spiegel in der Wohnung (nur kleiner Spiegel im Bad) und Handtuchhalter

Było trochę brudno widać było że właściciel na szybko przyszedł ogarnąć po wcześniejszych gościach, Nieprzyjemne było wejście do apartamentu było na kod ale zanim się wszystko ogarnęło jak się wchodzi co trzeba kliknąć co przekręcić to trochę zajęło

Ισόγειο με εύκολη πρόσβαση με κωδικό, Το μπάνιο είναι ανακαινισμένο και έχει ντούζ με τέλεια παροχή νερού. Ζεστό νερό όσο ήθελες. Το δωμάτιο είχε θέρμανση που μπορούσες να ρυθμίσεις και ήταν αρκετά ζεστό τον χειμώνα που πήγαμε εμείς. Υπήρχε καινούργιο σφουγγάρι στην κουζίνα.Είναι σε αρκετά καλή τοποθεσία, 5 λεπτά περπάτημα από σταση του μετρό και κοντά με τα πόδια από το Checkpoint Charlie, την πύλη του Βραδεμβούργου και το κοινοβούλιο. Κοντά υπάρχει και Supermarket και κατάστηματα για τον πρωινό καφέ και εστιατόρια.
Το στρώμα του κρεβατιού ήταν άβολο όπως και ο καναπές, τα σεντόνια ήταν γεμάτα κόμπους. Το ίντερνετ τις πρώτες μέρες ήταν οκ, ξαφνικά όμως τις δύο τελευταίες μέρες δεν είχε internet με αποτέλεσμα να μην λειτουργεί και η τηλεόραση. Αυτό το σκουπάκι του μπάνιου γιατί δεν το αλλάζετε με ένα καινούργιο, το κόστος είναι μικρό και είναι άθλιο να υπάρχει τέτοιο πράγμα σε ένα ενοικιαζόμενο διαμέρισμα. Τα μαγειρικά σκεύη είναι αρκετά, αλλά σε όλα έχει φθαρεί η αντικολλητική επίστρωση και δεν είναι για να τα χρησιμοποιήσεις. Στην κατάψυξη μας περίμενε και μία έκπληξη, μια μισοτελειωμένη συσκευασία παγωτού από τους προηγούμενους ενοικιαστές. Μέχρι το check in επικοινωνούσαμε με τον διαχειριστή με email και watch-up, αλλά σε μία ερώτηση που θα μπορούσαμε να πετάξουμε τα σκουπίδια που είχαμε μαζέψει ακόμα περιμένω απάντηση. Ο φούρνος δεν ήταν καθαρός για να μαγειρέψεις όπως και ο φούρνος μικροκυμάτων που βάλαμε να ζεστάνουμε μια κούπα με νερό και την βγάλαμε γεμάτη με καμμένα φαγητά.
