The studios here are exactly what they promise - cosy without being cramped, and I mean that in a good way. Each one comes with this TV stick setup that's honestly pretty clever (no more fighting with hotel remotes that are missing half their buttons). The whole vibe feels more like crashing at a friend's place than staying in some sterile hotel room. The owners clearly put thought into the little things - decent coffee setup, proper hangers that don't fall off the rod, and windows that actually open properly. I stayed during one of those surprisingly warm October weeks, and being able to get some fresh air without dealing with ancient AC was perfect. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which matters if you're trying to work remotely or just want to stream something after wandering around the city all day.

What really won me over about this spot is the neighborhood itself. Pankow has this lived-in feel that you don't get in Mitte or Kreuzberg - actual Berliners going about their daily lives, corner bakeries that aren't tourist traps, and tree-lined streets that make you slow down a bit. You're maybe twenty minutes by U-Bahn to the main sights, but honestly, some evenings I found myself just walking around the area instead. There's this Turkish place about three blocks away that does incredible döner (the locals line up there around lunchtime, which is always a good sign), and the little park nearby is perfect for morning coffee if the weather cooperates. Parking isn't a nightmare like it is closer to the center, which is huge if you're driving.
