Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect from a place with such a mouthful of a name, but GREIF by ROCKCHAIR turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you've discovered something special in Berlin. It's tucked away on Greifswalder Straße in Pankow – not exactly the tourist circuit, which is actually perfect if you want to experience Berlin like someone who actually lives here.
The apartment itself feels like staying at a well-traveled friend's place, you know? Those boxspring beds they mention are legit comfortable (I'm picky about mattresses), and the two-bedroom setup gives you space to actually spread out without feeling like you're living in a hotel room. What struck me most was how they've managed to nail that "cozy but not cluttered" vibe – there's this nice balance between having everything you need and not feeling overwhelmed by stuff. The kitchen's properly equipped too, which matters if you're staying more than a couple nights or traveling with kids who need their routine. I mean, you can actually cook a real meal here, not just heat up leftovers.
Location-wise, Pankow gets overlooked by most visitors, but that's their loss. You're close enough to the action – the S-Bahn connections are solid, and you can get to Mitte or Friedrichshain without much hassle. But here's the thing: you're also in a neighborhood where people actually live and work, so there are proper bakeries, local cafés that aren't Instagram traps, and that authentic Berlin residential feel you can't get in the touristy areas. The street itself is pretty quiet (at least when I was there in early fall), though you'll hear some city sounds – it's Berlin, not the countryside. Parking seemed manageable if you're driving, which isn't always a given in this city. The 9.4 rating makes sense when you stay here – it's not flashy or trying too hard, but everything works the way it should, and the Superhost status shows in those little details that make a difference. Whether you're here for business meetings or dragging the family around Berlin's museums, this place just... works. It's got that rare quality of feeling both professional and homey, if that makes sense.

Exceptional
Big enough to easily acomodate up to 8 persons-but then just have in mind there is one bathroom. If it's ok for some group then it's perfect, well equiped place. Also parking place available - very important when coming by car to Berlin...

Very comfy beds, close to town!
The beds were incredibly comfy, there was lots of space for us and our things, very accessible to town. I was worried about sleeping arrangements with 8 of us but there was a great amount of space for us.
For a large group (8 of us) it is difficult with only one bathroom but manageable. We couldn't work out how to use the oven as the display was broken (but the oven itself worked I thin) so if you need to use the oven perhaps ask how to work it in advance.

Beautiful place. Very convenient to the tram and overall very central location. Lots of amenities in the area.

Historical building in a great location. Very spacious, yet clean and comfy apartment. Free private parking. Friendly host. Clear directions on check-in process and good overall communication.
At the moment of our visit some interiors looked a bit worn (and some a bit cheap) and could get a few refreshing touches for a perfect experience. Also, WiFi tends to become completely unavailable at random. Regardless of that, if back to Berlin anytime soon, I'd choose to stay there again.
Good appartment for friends and familys.
Apartment was really big and there was enough space for all of us (8 people). Beds were really good.
Humidity in the appartment was a little bit too high and there were too hot at nights. Temperature decreased by leaving windows open by then traffic voices came in.

De locatie. Dicht bij de winkels en Prenzlauerberg. Tram ook voor de deur. Een mooi groot en stijlvol.appartement waar niks ontbrak. Lekkere bedden en modern ingericht. We waren heel tevreden en kunnen het iedereen.aanrader.
Een 9 en geen 10 omdat we 1 toilet in de badkamer hadden. Met 7 vrouwen.niet zo handig. We hadden ook verwacht dat we 3 slaapkamers hadden. Het bleken er 2 te zijn. De woonkamer was de 3e slaapkamer. Verder alles top.
Große angenehme Wohnung mit genügend Platz für 6-8 Personen in guter Lage
Die Wohnung war sehr schön und groß. Das Wohnzimmer bot genug Platz für mehr als 10 Leute. Man hätte sogar tanzen können. Die Decke war im Wohnzimmer und in einem Schlafzimmer schön verziert. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Die Umgebung der Wohnung hat uns auch gut gefallen, es gab alles, was das Herz begehrt, auch einen Bioladen. Insgesamt waren wir mehr als zufrieden und kommen möglicherweise bald wieder.
Die Wohnung war etwas zu kühl. Die Temperatur im Wohnzimmer war auf 21,5 °C eingestellt. Als wir dann die Heizung etwas höher gestellt hatten, wurde es trotzdem nicht viel wärmer, wahrscheinlich auch weil das Wohnzimmer sehr groß war. Der designierte Parkplatz der Unterkunft wurde leider von einem anderen Auto benutzt, deshalb mussten wir im Hof auf einem anderen Platz parken, was am Wochenende kein Problem war, aber innerhalb der Woche vielleicht nicht möglich ist wegen der Gefahr des ev. Abschleppens.
