Hotel City Green Berlin
About
First Impressions
Hotel City Green Berlin sits in a quiet corner of Treptow-Köpenick that honestly feels worlds away from the tourist crowds — and I mean that in the best possible way. The three-star property has this understated charm that grows on you, especially when you realize how many guests keep coming back (there's definitely something to be said for that kind of loyalty). It's the sort of place where couples seem to find their groove, which makes sense once you experience the relaxed atmosphere here. The location offers a genuine escape from Berlin's busier districts while maintaining easy access to major attractions and public transportation throughout the city.
The Neighborhood
Treptow-Köpenick isn't where most tourists end up, but that's actually part of its appeal. You're in a genuinely residential area where locals go about their daily lives — there's something refreshing about stepping outside and not immediately bumping into tour groups. The Spree River isn't far, and you know what? Sometimes it's nice to have that breathing room from central Berlin's intensity while still being connected to the city. This district has developed into a vibrant neighborhood with independent shops, cafes, and cultural venues that reflect authentic Berlin life.
Rooms and Comfort
The rooms at Hotel City Green Berlin are what I'd call pleasantly straightforward — clean, comfortable, and designed with actual functionality in mind. Nothing flashy, but everything works the way it should, which honestly matters more than fancy fixtures when you're trying to get a good night's sleep. The green theme runs throughout without being heavy-handed about it, and there's enough space to actually unpack your suitcase (a small upscale feature that frequent travelers definitely appreciate). Each room includes modern amenities and thoughtful touches that enhance your stay without unnecessary frills.
Breakfast and Practical Perks
The breakfast setup here is surprisingly comprehensive — they've got continental options alongside halal choices, which shows they're thinking about their diverse guest base. The buffet style means you can fuel up properly before heading out, and I've noticed the staff keeps things well-stocked even during busy periods. What really sets this place apart though is the free parking — if you're driving in Berlin, you'll understand why this is such a relief. No circling blocks looking for spots or feeding meters every few hours, which makes the hotel particularly appealing for guests traveling by car.
Why Guests Love It
There's something to be said for a hotel that people choose to return to, and Hotel City Green Berlin clearly has that figured out. Maybe it's the combination of being far enough from the chaos but still accessible, or perhaps it's the staff who seem to remember faces and preferences. Couples particularly seem drawn to this spot, probably because it offers that sweet spot between urban convenience and peaceful retreat. It's not trying to be the fanciest place in Berlin — it's just focused on being a really solid choice that delivers on its promises without any pretense, making it an excellent value for travelers seeking authentic Berlin hospitality.
Hotels in Berlin offer guests the perfect blend of German efficiency and modern comfort, with many featuring historical tour concierge services and traditional beer garden experiences to enhance the authentic German cultural experience.

team work , reception and cleaning
Location next to SBahn approx 25 minutes to Warschauerstr. The room was clean , warm, hairdryer is available. Quiet location , and next to Lidl, Netto and Rewe supermarkets (3 minutes by foot). Very helpful people at the reception. Room cleaning service every second day.
The room was clean and comfortable.
This is a budget hotel but very clean and comfortable, beds good, shower ok but flooded the bathroom when used. There is a lot of building work going on nearby but this didn’t worry us as we were out each day. There are 2 supermarkets next door. Walking distance to the station to get to the centre is berlin
not a bad hotel, especially for the price. large room with a kitchen.
What I liked about the hotel was the friendly and accommodating staff, who were always ready to assist. The hotel itself was generally fine and provided a satisfactory experience. Despite being far from the city center, the service inside the hotel helped to balance out the location drawback.
Amazing room: comfortable, fully equiped (microwave, small fridge, sink), desktop comfortable for working, very clean, the bed, very comfortable. I arrived late, and tired due to some issues, and the staff was very supportive. The neighbor is under construction, so the area is not "nice" now, but the hotel is perfect for business trips. Close to the airport.
