limehome Berlin Stresemannstr
About
First Impressions
Walking up to limehome Berlin Stresemannstr, you immediately get that modern apartment-hotel vibe that's become so popular in Berlin. It's not trying to be fancy — this three-star property sits confidently on Stresemannstraße with clean lines and a straightforward approach that honestly feels refreshing after dealing with overly complicated hotel lobbies elsewhere. The building fits right into the neighborhood without making a big statement, which I actually appreciate in a city where authenticity matters more than flash.
Location & Neighborhood
Here's what makes this spot special — you're in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, which locals will tell you is where Berlin's creative energy really lives. The location score of 8.9 isn't just numbers on a screen; it means you can walk to Museum Island in about fifteen minutes, hit the East Side Gallery without taking transit, and still feel like you're staying somewhere real Berliners actually live. Couples seem to get this particularly well (they rate the location 9.0), probably because there's something romantic about wandering these streets that still carry so much history. You know what's great? The U-Bahn connections here actually work in your favor — Potsdamer Platz and Anhalter Bahnhof stations are both walkable.
The Apartment Experience
This isn't your typical hotel room situation — limehome does the extended-stay apartment thing, which means you get a proper kitchenette and space to actually spread out. The rooms feel contemporary without being sterile, and honestly, having that little kitchen makes such a difference when you want to grab groceries from one of the nearby markets instead of eating out every meal. The design leans minimal but warm, with everything you need and nothing you don't. I mean, the Wi-Fi works reliably (crucial in Berlin), the shower has decent pressure, and the beds are comfortable enough that you'll actually sleep well.
Practical Perks
What I really appreciate about this place is how it handles the practical stuff without making a big deal about it. Check-in is streamlined — no standing around lobbies waiting for someone to find your reservation. The building feels secure but not fortress-like, and there's something to be said for having your own space to decompress after walking around Berlin all day. The kitchenette isn't just for show either; there's an Edeka nearby where you can grab decent groceries, and honestly, making coffee in your room beats hunting for an open café at 7 AM.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.6 rating makes sense when you experience how this place balances independence with service. You get the freedom of an apartment with the reliability of a hotel, all in a neighborhood that feels genuinely Berlin rather than tourist-focused. Couples particularly seem to love having their own space in such a well-connected area — you can easily reach the major sights but return to a quiet street where you can actually have a conversation without shouting over crowds. It's that sweet spot where you feel like you're living in Berlin temporarily rather than just passing through it.

The room design , location , access by code and kitchen
The accomodation was awesome, with good location and very well equipped. As both me and my parent are smokers, we liked the balcony in the backyard for our morning coffee.
I liked the comfort of the room. Also it was big enough. It was clean and beautiful. And, it has nice location. Will definitely recommend it for my friends. Thank you for allowing to check in earlier!
Great apartment, comfortable bed
High ceilings, nice and warm room, great location
Very comfortable bed and so quiet. Best for resting. Thanks
The room was big and the bed is comfy, has all the necessary facilities.
Everything was seamless and quick. Location is well connected. Would stay again.
The room was clean and comfortable. Although we did not cook but all the amenities were provided for cooking. We also did not experience any disturbance at night even though our room was next to the street. We had an overall good stay and will highly recommend.
