The rooms are what you'd expect from MEININGER – clean, functional, maybe a bit compact but honestly, who spends time in their room in Berlin anyway? The beds are actually comfortable (I was worried about that), and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. The WiFi worked perfectly throughout the building, which matters when you're trying to figure out museum hours or book dinner reservations. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and the heating worked great, though I imagine summers might get a bit warm since the windows aren't huge.
