Mr(s)STiL Design Apartments
About
Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect from a place called Mr(s)STiL Design Apartments – the name made me think it might be one of those overly trendy spots that's all style and no substance. But walking into this place, you immediately get why they went with that slightly quirky name. Everything here screams thoughtful design, from the lighting (which actually makes you look good in photos, thank god) to the way they've arranged the furniture so you're not constantly bumping into things like you do in most hotel rooms.
What really got me was the attention to details you don't usually notice until they're done wrong. The blackout curtains actually black out the room – I mean, completely dark, which saved my life after a late night out. The kitchen setup is brilliant too, not just some sad mini-fridge situation but actual space to cook if you want to skip overpriced room service. I ended up making coffee there every morning because, well, their machine was better than what I have at home. The bathroom situation deserves a mention too – rainfall shower head, great water pressure, and enough counter space that you're not playing Tetris with your toiletries.
You know what really sets this place apart though? It feels like staying in someone's incredibly well-appointed apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. There's actual art on the walls (not those generic hotel prints that make you feel nothing), and the furniture looks like pieces someone actually chose rather than ordered in bulk. The bed situation is next level – I'm talking about the kind of mattress and pillows that make you consider what you're sleeping on at home. I actually looked up the brand because I was thinking about upgrading my own setup. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that waiting around while they "prepare your key cards" nonsense. The staff knows what they're doing and doesn't waste your time with unnecessary chitchat when you're clearly tired from traveling. That 9.6 rating makes total sense once you've stayed here – it's the kind of place where small things are handled so well that you don't realize how much better your stay is until you're somewhere else dealing with flickering lights and lukewarm showers again.
