Neue 2-Zi-Apartment 15 Min Entfernung zum HBF und Brandenburger Tor
About
You know what really surprised me about this place? The name makes it sound like some generic rental listing, but honestly, this two-bedroom apartment turned out to be one of those hidden gems that locals probably don't want tourists finding out about. I mean, when you see "Neue 2-Zi-Apartment" you're not exactly expecting much personality, right? But the location alone – I'm talking a genuine 15-minute walk to both Hauptbahnhof and Brandenburg Gate – that's the kind of positioning that costs serious money in most European capitals.
The apartment itself has that satisfying Berlin vibe where everything's been thoughtfully updated without losing character. The morning light comes in really nicely (I'd guess it faces east based on how bright breakfast was), and there's this quiet efficiency to the layout that actually makes sense when you're living there for a few days rather than just passing through. What I loved most was how it felt like staying in a proper neighborhood – you'll hear the morning rush of commuters heading to work, smell coffee from the café downstairs, that sort of authentic city rhythm you miss when you're stuck in hotel zones. The 4-star rating feels spot-on; it's not trying to be fancy, just really good at what it does.
Here's the thing about that 15-minute promise to the major sites – it's actually true, which is rare. I timed it because, well, you have to, and even walking at a tourist pace with stops for photos, you're looking at maybe 18 minutes max to Brandenburg Gate. The path takes you through some lovely streets too, not just boring main drags. Plus being that close to Hauptbahnhof means you can literally arrive in Berlin, walk to your accommodation, drop your bags, and be exploring within an hour of stepping off the train. That 9.1 rating makes perfect sense once you've stayed there – it's the kind of place where all the small things work properly (decent water pressure, reliable wifi, keys that don't stick) and you find yourself thinking "okay, I could actually live here for a while." The only minor thing I'd mention is that it can get a bit echoey in the hallways during peak checkout times, but honestly, that's Berlin apartment living for you. It's become my go-to recommendation for friends visiting the city who want to feel like temporary Berliners rather than obvious tourists.

I live nearby and had frees our apartment for my mother. It’s a great place when I have fam over but my husband and I can keep our privacy and still be close by.
Great apartment, it makes you feel like you are in a shop window. We even got an idea to start our caffe bar (CROcaffe) nearby but we failed from the start as we drank all the booze ourselves.
Gute Lage, gute Ausstattung
Sehr gut ausgestattete Unterkunft. Sehr sauber, sehr guter Service.
Top Lage. Grosser Wohn-Essbereich mit sehr gut ausgestatteter Küche. 55er TV ! Geräumige Dusche. Viel Tageslicht!!
