Numa Berlin Belfort
About
You know what caught me off guard about Numa Berlin Belfort? The moment I walked up to the building on Belforter Straße, it felt like I'd stumbled onto something that actually belonged in the neighborhood instead of some corporate chain that could've been dropped anywhere. This isn't one of those towering glass boxes – it's got this understated, almost residential vibe that makes sense when you realize you're in Pankow, which honestly feels more like where actual Berliners live rather than where tourists usually crash.
The whole Numa concept is pretty clever, actually – they've stripped away the traditional front desk circus and gone digital, which I was skeptical about until I realized how smoothly it works. Check-in took maybe two minutes through their app, and you're not stuck making small talk when you just want to dump your bags and explore. The rooms themselves have this clean, minimalist thing going on that doesn't feel sterile (you know how some modern hotels can feel like fancy hospital rooms?). What I really appreciated were the little touches that show someone was thinking – proper blackout curtains that actually block light, decent water pressure in the shower, and USB ports exactly where you'd want them. The 8.1 rating makes total sense because while it's not trying to be the Ritz, it nails all the stuff that matters when you're actually living in a space for a few days.
Location-wise, you're in this sweet spot where you can walk to Prenzlauer Berg in about fifteen minutes – and I mean the good parts with the cafes and vintage shops, not just the tourist traps around Hackescher Markt. The S-Bahn connections are solid too; Pankow station gets you into Mitte in maybe twenty minutes, which is honestly faster than trying to navigate from some of the more "central" hotels during rush hour. One thing I didn't expect – this area gets genuinely quiet at night. Like, refreshingly quiet if you're used to city noise, though if you need late-night food runs, you'll want to stock up earlier in the evening since the neighborhood doesn't really do the 24/7 thing. There's a decent bakery two blocks down that opens early if you're the type who needs proper coffee before facing the world, and honestly, watching the locals do their morning routine felt more authentic than anything I've experienced staying in the tourist zones.

Superb
We got different room than the one in instructions.
Very good
Really nice and charming
Rather irritating with the digital only concept, would prefer dealing with humans - but the room was so nice
Very good
Perfect location for us. Very convenient. Enough space to accommodate a family with 3 adults and a couple of teenagers. There is also a kitchenette which is good enough for light meals however there is no oven or microwave
We stayed as a family, but if privacy is of matter, there are virtually no inside doors, even the bathroom doors are partly transparent and no noise insulation.
Ideal location, close to everything. Was very well taken care of.
Perfect location and comfortable room.
It wasn't very quiet but then the center of Catania is not a quiet place.
Great place administered by a robot.
This a fantastic place to stay in Berlin. It is located in a relatively quiet quarter of Prenzlauer Berg. There are several local possibilities to enjoy good food and some drinks. But, mainly, it is within walking distance to many exciting places in Berlin, short walk from underground to reach every little corner of this fabulous city.
This place deserves maximal marks. However, the robot administering the property is spamming the email and Booking app. I’ve received over 15 messages before my stay. This is 13 more than accepted number.
Very good
Historical building, with lovely high ceilings, in a great neighbourhood.
Showerhead kept slipping down and didn't stay elevated; needed to rig it with an elastic band.

Location and room size
Very good
The location is amazing apartment is clean and decent
The towels were not changed on the 5 days we stayed and the apartment did not get cleaned I think they should provide a cleaning service regularly
Awesome.
The location is great, less than 5mins to the tram and 3 stops from Alexander Platz. The neighbourhood is lovely, lots of places to eat, small shops. The apartment was safe and clean. The beds, kitchen, bathroom facilities were all great.
Breakfast was removed as a service quite late just before we arrived, however they refunded the costs when prompted. That could have happened more proactively.
