Potsdamer Platz-Top Spot Studio 1
About
You know what? I was honestly skeptical when I first booked this studio at Potsdamer Platz – I mean, the name makes it sound like some generic corporate rental, right? But walking into this place actually surprised me in the best way. It's tucked right in the heart of one of Berlin's most electric neighborhoods, and I'm talking about being steps away from the Sony Center and all that glass-and-steel energy that makes Potsdamer Platz feel like Berlin's Times Square (but way cooler, obviously).
The studio itself is exactly what you'd want for a city break – clean, modern, and honestly pretty well thought out for the space they're working with. It's not huge, but they've maximized every corner without making it feel cramped. The bed's comfortable enough that I actually slept through the night, which is saying something because I'm usually tossing and turning in unfamiliar places. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays despite being in such a busy area – you get all the excitement of Potsdamer Platz without the street noise keeping you up. The little kitchenette is perfect if you want to grab some groceries from the nearby Rewe and make breakfast instead of paying tourist prices every morning.
Location-wise, this is where the place really shines. You're literally surrounded by everything – the Philharmonie is a short walk if you're into classical music, the Mall of Berlin is right there for shopping (or just escaping bad weather), and honestly, you can walk to Brandenburg Gate in about fifteen minutes if you're feeling ambitious. The S-Bahn and U-Bahn connections are ridiculously good too – Potsdamer Platz station is basically your gateway to anywhere in the city. I found myself using it as a home base to explore different neighborhoods each day, then coming back to decompress. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises or hidden fees, and the whole experience felt more like staying at a friend's well-appointed place than some sterile hotel room. For a 3-star spot with an 8.3 rating, it really delivers on being that sweet spot between budget-friendly and actually comfortable – perfect if you want to spend your money on experiencing Berlin rather than just sleeping in it.
Early hotels booking in Berlin is essential during major events like the Berlinale Film Festival, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city's renowned nightlife and cultural scene.

Location is very good, 10 minutes away by walking from potsdamer platz. Host was very friendly and communicative. Rate 10-10
Right next to metro station, very warm & well heated in the cold January nights, comfortable beds and great value
The location is good. The metro is as close as 300m. The kitchen is good with appropriate accessories. The Wifi is working well. The bath is a bonus.
The location was close to public transport and it was easy to get to all famous places of Berlin, many were even in walking distance, for example, Checkpont Charlie and Topography of terror (with Berlin Wall). Grocery shops near by and Mall of Berlin with lots of shops and eating places. The apartment was clean, it had a small kitchen which we used to make breakfast and dinner. Nice, spacious bathroom.
Perfect location, both for walking to nearby sites and there is a good train station approx 50m away from the front door. Near by supermarkerts within 6 min walk
Location
While the regional trains were a huge mess, the U-bahn and the light-rail worked flawlessly. Since the apartment is located very near the U2 line, it was very easy to get to/from everywhere in the inner city.
The location is good. There is a U bahn and S bahn station 5-6 minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment was clean. Provided all basic facilities for 4 people. The wifi was not detected at first, when I contacted the host, got another connection details soon and it worked.
Location is quite good. The apartment is not expensive and worth money.
Close to U bahn station. Comfortable.
