Prime Comfort Apartment with Balcony & Free Parking
About
First Impressions
The Prime Comfort Apartment with Balcony & Free Parking sits on a quiet stretch of Flottwellstraße in Berlin's Mitte district, and honestly, the location alone makes this place worth considering. I mean, you're basically in the heart of everything without dealing with the chaos of Alexanderplatz or Potsdamer Platz. The building itself is pretty typical Berlin — that mix of old and renovated that you see everywhere in the city center. What caught my attention right away was how easy it was to actually find parking here, which anyone who's driven in Berlin will tell you is basically a miracle.
The Space
This three-star apartment feels more spacious than you'd expect from the photos. The main room has this nice open layout that doesn't feel cramped, even with a full-sized bed and seating area. The kitchen is actually functional — I'm talking real counter space and appliances that work properly, not just the tiny setup you sometimes get in Berlin rentals. You know what really makes a difference though? That balcony. It's not huge, but it faces away from the street noise, so you can actually sit out there with your morning coffee without feeling like you're camping on a busy intersection.
Location Perks
Flottwellstraße puts you within walking distance of Museum Island and the Brandenburg Gate, but here's the thing locals know — you're also close to some really good neighborhood spots that tourists usually miss. There's this excellent Turkish bakery about two blocks away that opens early, and the Spree riverbank is literally a five-minute walk where you can jog or just sit and watch the tour boats go by. The U-Bahn connections are solid too; you can get to Kreuzberg or Prenzlauer Berg without any annoying transfers.
Practical Details
The free parking situation is genuinely impressive for this part of Berlin — most places either charge you extra or you're stuck circling blocks looking for street spots. The apartment comes with decent Wi-Fi (I actually got work done here), and the shower has proper water pressure, which sounds basic but you'd be surprised how often that's an issue in older Berlin buildings. The whole setup feels clean and well-maintained, though don't expect fancy finishes or designer furniture. It's comfortable and functional, which is exactly what you want when you're spending your days exploring the city.
Why Guests Love It
What really works about this place is how it strikes that balance between being central and being livable. You're not paying premium prices for a hotel in the tourist zone, but you're also not stuck way out in some residential area wondering how to get anywhere. Couples seem to particularly appreciate the setup — there's enough space to spread out a bit, and the balcony gives you that little bit of outdoor space that makes longer stays feel less cramped. Plus, having your own kitchen means you can grab groceries at the nearby Rewe and save money on meals when you want to.

Location was good also the communication with host was quite quick
Very convenient for 3 max 3 people, it has natural light coming in the living room and generaly it is very warm which is good in the winter. The indoor parking is very convenient accesed from the apartment by using the lift. The owners were kind and they offered as a special pot to make Greek/Turkish coffee.
The location is great and also the parking - those are the best parts of this apartment.
The apartment is very spacious and well-situated. The parking was convenient, and the large balcony was a great spot to relax. However, the cleanliness could use some improvement, particularly in the bathroom, where a bit more attention would make a big difference.
Well equipped cosy apartment very close to the city centre and main attractions. The bed was very comfortable and we also were happy to use the coffee machine. The carpark under the house was very easy to reach. The communication with the host was easy and on time. She sent us video guide how to reach the appartment however somehow I missed the name of it, so it took some time to explain to the concierge which key do I need. Very much appreciated the location, there is a huge park nearby, a tiny food store near the apartment (only cash) and also pizzeria on the ground floor of the building. Across the park there is an underground station that really makes travelling around the city very easy!
Convenient location (near the venue “Station Berlin”) Spacious Property manager was very communicative, gave very clear instructions and let me stay for an extra 2 hours Safe parking
