Roomers Berlin Steinplatz, Autograph Collection
About
First Impressions
Walking into Roomers Berlin Steinplatz, Autograph Collection feels like stepping into someone's impossibly chic private residence — if that someone happened to have impeccable taste and unlimited funds. This five-star property sits right on Steinplatz in Berlin's elegant Charlottenburg district, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. You're basically in the heart of one of the city's most sophisticated neighborhoods, where tree-lined streets meet high-end boutiques and that distinctly Berlin blend of history and modernity.
The Neighborhood Advantage
What I love about this spot is how it puts you right in the thick of things without feeling touristy. Charlottenburg has this refined energy — you've got the Deutsche Oper just around the corner, Kurfürstendamm's shopping scene within walking distance, and some of Berlin's best cafes scattered throughout the area. The couples who stay here clearly get it (they rate the location 9.2, which honestly doesn't surprise me). You can easily walk to Tiergarten when you need green space, or hop on the U-Bahn at Zoologischer Garten to reach other parts of the city.
Luxury Meets Comfort
The rooms here strike that perfect balance between luxury design and actual livability. I mean, what's the point of a beautiful room if you can't get a decent night's sleep, right? Well, guests consistently rave about the beds — and after experiencing them myself, I totally understand why. The interiors lean contemporary with warm touches, and there's this attention to detail that you notice in small moments, like the quality of the linens or how the lighting actually works for reading.
Dining and Daily Rhythms
Breakfast here is one of those experiences that sets the tone for your entire day. They offer continental, American, and buffet options, so whether you're the type who wants a quick coffee and pastry or someone who needs a proper spread, you're covered. The restaurant maintains that same sophisticated-but-approachable vibe as the rest of the property. What really tells you something about a place, though, is the repeat guest factor — and apparently, people keep coming back here more than at most other hotels, which speaks volumes about the overall experience.
Why Guests Love It
There's something to be said for a hotel that manages to feel both luxurious and genuinely welcoming. The staff seems to understand that luxury isn't just about thread counts and marble surfaces (though those are nice too) — it's about making your stay feel effortless. Whether you're here for business meetings in the city center, exploring Berlin's cultural scene, or just need a sophisticated base for a romantic getaway, this place delivers without trying too hard. The fact that it's part of the Autograph Collection means you get that boutique hotel personality with the reliability of a major hospitality group backing it up.
Early hotels booking in Berlin is essential during major events like the Berlinale Film Festival, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city's renowned nightlife and cultural scene.

Pleasant quiet and efficient
All round excellent stay, with great service and facilities, comfy room and excellent breakfast.
The location is very good. The room was bright. There were beautiful views from the balcony. The bed was big and very comfortable. Breakfast is varied and very tasty. The service staff also offered us a hot breakfast, which was included in the menu. We really liked the service staff. At the reception, we were met by very polite and smiling staff. Any questions were answered quickly. They also recommended a good restaurant in German style. Thank you for such service!
The location of this very comfortable hotel was excellent. Close to a small grassed square which was pleasant to sit in if the weather permitted. And next to a convenient bus stop for a short journey to a very useful train station, Zoologischer Garden, for great transport links to the rest of the city. S Bahn and U Bahn. The hotel is very well appointed and tastefully decorated. From the moment you first walk in you are greeted by the welcoming, helpful and friendly reception staff led by Maria. They all speak English very well too. Then on to our room on the fourth floor, accessed by two modern lifts. Our room was a delight. An exceptionally comfortable, large bed. Great fresh cotton bed linen, changed every few days by the very efficient housekeeping staff, who serviced our room every day and cleaned and refreshed our bathroom. And of course made our bed and hoovered the plush carpets. Our bathroom had a large lit mirror and small vanity mirror, hair dryer and daily replenished toiletries of great quality. A separate toilet cubicle and separate large walk in shower. The room also had a large screen TV with ample channels. It was conveniently mounted on a floor stand which meant it could be swivelled around to view from the bed or turned in the opposite direction to view from two very comfortable, leather, easy chairs complimented by a leather foot stall. These were either side of a stylish desk with table top lamp and easy access usb ports. The room also has ample wardrobe and cupboard space. Of course there is a room safe too. Outside we had a very nice, large balcony, with chairs and table, and a great view of the pretty tree lined street. On the ground floor is a very stylish restaurant with outside and conservatory dining areas. As for the open kitchen we can’t praise it enough. Breakfast was plentiful and deliciously cooked, catering for all types of world breakfast tastes.
Went to Berlin for a weekend break and am Steinplatz was an excellent hotel. rooms were clean and spacious with good amenities. The breakfasts were lovely with lots of choice. Location was great as the hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle but not too far to get anywhere such as the train station. Staff were very helpful.
Loved that it felt small and intimate but with the same luxuries of a bigger hotel.
Loved the decor, very chic and stylish. With an absolutely gorgeous restaurant - both the food and the ambience.
