The Goethe Group Loft, 2 BR, 2 bath rooms, one living room, family friendly, 2-5 Guests
About
Look, I've stayed in plenty of Berlin apartments over the years, but The Goethe Group Loft really caught me off guard – in the best way possible. First thing that hits you when you walk in? The space actually feels bigger than what you'd expect from most Berlin rentals, and trust me, that's saying something. The two bedrooms are properly sized (not those shoebox situations you sometimes get), and honestly, having two full bathrooms when you're traveling with family or friends is a game-changer. No more awkward morning bathroom queues, you know what I mean?
What I really love about this place is the location on Goethestraße – it's right in that sweet spot of Charlottenburg where you feel like you're living in actual Berlin, not just visiting it. You're maybe a five-minute walk to Kantstraße with all its little cafes and that amazing Turkish bakery (grab the börek, seriously), and the S-Bahn connection at Charlottenburg station means you can get pretty much anywhere without the tourist trap markup. The neighborhood has this lived-in feeling during the day – you'll see locals walking their dogs, kids heading to school, that sort of authentic Berlin rhythm that's getting harder to find in other parts of the city. Evenings are surprisingly quiet too, which was perfect after long days of sightseeing.
The apartment itself has that modern-but-not-sterile vibe going on. Kitchen's actually functional – I mean, you can cook real meals here, not just reheat pizza. The living room's where everyone ends up hanging out, and there's enough seating that you're not fighting over the good spot on the couch. Check-in was smooth (they actually answered their phone, which... you'd be surprised how rare that is), and parking isn't the nightmare you might expect, though I'd still recommend the public transport route if you're just exploring the city. The 8.4 rating feels about right – it's solidly good without trying to be something it's not. If you're looking for that luxury hotel experience with doormen and marble lobbies, this isn't your spot. But if you want a genuine Berlin base where you can spread out, cook breakfast, and feel like you're actually staying somewhere rather than just passing through, this loft delivers exactly what it promises.

Superb
Excellent neighborhood. We enjoyed the many restaurants in the area, the community feel of the little square down the street, and the big farmers market on Wednesday and Saturday. Rooms were adequately sized, furniture was comfortable and modern, and all facilities worked well. Building was cool during hot days. A great location from which to explore Berlin.
Front windows open onto the street, but mitigated by shades and curtains. One shade needs replacing as of the date of our stay.
Very pleasant stay in a nicely furnished appartment in a quiet location.
Size, number of bedrooms, decor and quiet location
Washing machine door faulty and dishwasher not functioning.
Perfect Stay in Berlin
Very spacious for myself and my family. The location was perfect as it was within a 10 minute drive of major landmarks and popular destinations. The house was very clean and the bedrooms are very comfortable. Would come again.
One of the bathrooms is a bit small but other than that perfect.
4 nights in Berlin for marathon runners
Great location for us (quiet area). It was a very easy walk to multiple train/subway stations. Near to stores, restaurants, pedestrian areas. Apartment was as described, amenities were sufficient for our stay. Plenty of room for 4 people. The host was great to communicate with.
Good
The apartment was very comfortable and well appointed. The location was excellent.
Wineglasses but no wine bottle opener. Shower but no soap or shampoo. No umbrella. No sugar……
A clean well equipped apartment within walking distance of the train station
The apartment was clean, well equipped, comfortable and nicely presented. It was also very warm, which was a good thing as we stayed during a very grey, drizzly weekend. Having 2 bathrooms was a real plus!
Wasn’t that keen on the location and there was no window in the second bedroom.
Very good
I liked the location and value of the property.
It could have been cleaned a bit better and maybe offer a second set of towels for the length of our stay.
Good stay
The apartment had plenty of room and the facilities were good. We felt comfortable and the location was great. The beds were comfortable.
It is not so convenient to have to wait to meet the checkin manager to receive the key. A key box would be better.
Very good
Well equipped, spacious and cozy apartment.
The hygiene could have been better. Lot of surfaces had dust or hair on it. One of the bathrooms were very small and the smaller room doesn't have windows.
Very good
Na
Shower could be better / stronger. But it was ok. A map of Berlin and where transport is would be useful etc.
