The Paul II, 3 bedrooms up to 6 ppl in Prenzlauer Berg
About
First Impressions
Walking up to The Paul II, 3 bedrooms up to 6 ppl in Prenzlauer Berg, you immediately get that "local Berlin" vibe rather than the typical tourist hotel experience. This four-star apartment sits right on Paul-Robeson-Strasse, and honestly, the building has that classic East Berlin charm that's been thoughtfully updated without losing its character. You know what struck me most? How quiet the street feels despite being so well-connected to everything you'd want to explore in Berlin.
The Space That Works
Inside, the three-bedroom setup actually makes sense for groups — I mean, you're not cramming six people into some tiny hotel room situation. Each bedroom feels properly sized, and the common areas don't feel like an afterthought. The kitchen is genuinely functional too, which matters when you're staying longer than a weekend or traveling with kids who need familiar meals. The whole place has this lived-in comfort that's way better than sterile hotel vibes.
Prenzlauer Berg Perfection
Here's the thing about this location — Prenzlauer Berg is where Berliners actually want to live, not just visit. You're walking distance from Kollwitzplatz, perfect for Saturday markets, and the café scene around here is incredible. The property scored 9.2 for location, and honestly, I get it. You can stroll to Mauerpark for Sunday karaoke, hit the independent bookshops on Kastanienallee, or just wander the tree-lined streets that make this neighborhood so special. It's Berlin without the tourist crowds.
Why Couples Keep Coming Back
The feedback about couples loving this place makes total sense when you experience it. There's something romantic about having your own Berlin apartment rather than a hotel room — you can grab fresh bread from the local bakery, make coffee in your own space, and actually live like locals for a few days. The neighborhood supports that too, with intimate wine bars and cozy restaurant spots that feel more like discoveries than tourist destinations. Plus, having extra bedrooms means friends or family can join without everyone feeling cramped.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it solves the group travel problem without sacrificing the Berlin experience. You get the space and comfort of a proper apartment, the location score that puts you in the heart of one of Berlin's coolest neighborhoods, and that four-star quality that means everything actually works properly. The parking situation is manageable too, which anyone who's driven in Berlin will appreciate. It's not trying to be flashy or over-the-top — it's just a really solid base for exploring the city, whether you're here for the history, the nightlife, the museums, or just to soak up that unique Berlin energy that's impossible to find anywhere else.

Good location, a metro station, grocery stores, and coffee shops are a short distance walk. Friendly and communicative property manager.
Location is absolutely perfect! Close to the supermarket, close to Siebert Bakerei (thank me later) and most importantly right next to all the travel options you could want for getting around easily! Couldn't fault the property at all, Natalia was brilliant and arranged for us an early bag drop and key collection which was incredibly helpful. Thank you.
Very clean, with nice decor. Has a washing machine and dryer. Very close to a grocery store and restaurants, train station and a shopping mall.
Very good communication from the host Ilja - he made everything easy for us.
