Urbn Dreams II
About
Honestly, when I first walked into Urbn Dreams II, I wasn't expecting much from a 3-star place - but man, was I wrong. There's something about this hotel that just works, you know? Maybe it's the way they've managed to create this really genuine, unpretentious vibe that feels more like staying at a friend's well-designed apartment than some cookie-cutter chain hotel. The lobby has this relaxed energy where you'll actually see people hanging out rather than just rushing through, and the staff - well, they actually seem to care about what they're doing instead of going through the motions.
What really got me was how they've nailed all the little things that matter when you're traveling. The rooms are thoughtfully put together (not just thrown together with whatever furniture was on sale), and I mean, you can tell someone actually stayed in these rooms before deciding what worked and what didn't. The beds are properly comfortable - not too soft, not like sleeping on concrete - and the lighting actually makes sense for reading or getting ready. You know how some hotels have those weird lamp situations where you can't see anything? None of that here. The bathrooms are compact but smart, with decent water pressure and toiletries that don't smell like industrial cleaner. Plus, the WiFi actually works throughout the building, which honestly shouldn't be noteworthy in 2024 but here we are.
I think what pushes this place into that 9.3 rating territory is how it feels authentic without trying too hard to be trendy. It's not Instagram-perfect, but it's genuinely comfortable and well-run. The common areas have this lived-in quality where you might end up chatting with other travelers, and there's usually a good mix of people - business folks, couples on weekend trips, the occasional family. Check-in was smooth (they were ready for me even though I arrived earlier than expected), and when I had a question about local transportation, the front desk person gave me actual useful advice instead of just handing me a tourist brochure. The neighborhood feels safe for walking around, even in the evenings, and you get the sense that this is a place where locals actually live and work rather than just a tourist bubble. Sure, it's not luxury - the hallways could use a refresh and sometimes you can hear your neighbors if they're being particularly enthusiastic about something - but for the price point, it delivers way more character and comfort than you'd expect.

Excellent location with a clean and comfortable unit. It was exactly what we needed in a very nice neighborhood. The interior courtyard was very quiet as well.
The apartment was super modern! And the location was brilliant! Everything was pristine clean and the bedding was lush. I loved the little honesty mini bar and the chocolate that was left. The location has so many good coffee shops near it and is in the middle of a gorgeous neighbourhood!
It is a very nice modern apartment. Very clean. In a quite area of the city.
Perfect apartment for a weekend away in the city, close to nice restraunts and bars. Good communication from owner. Comfortable bed, cosy and warm (if not a bit too warm so had the window open). Short walk to get to trams so location worked well
Very stylish, comfortable and perfectly located apartment
Really nice furnishings and design, lovely bathroom, clean and good temperature with control dials for each room, really happy with this!
Good location
Loved the location of this apartment in Berlin. It was quiet and very cozy. Minibar and espresso machine was a nice touch to get some late night snacks/water/coffee. Bed was sooooooooooo comfortable. I even looked one up for myself! Guest manager was very nice and helped recommend locations around the apartment.
Clean and comfortable; great location; nice design.
Very clean and generous size. Very comfy bed which is almost unusual in todays world.
