Zuhause fühlen in Kreuzberg
About
You know what? I wasn't expecting much when I first heard the name "Zuhause fühlen in Kreuzberg" – it literally means "feeling at home in Kreuzberg" – but honestly, that's exactly what this place delivers. It's one of those 3-star spots that punches way above its weight, sitting pretty with an 8.0 rating that actually makes sense once you experience it.
The thing about staying here is that you're really staying in Kreuzberg, not just visiting it. I mean, you'll wake up to the sounds of the neighborhood coming alive – maybe some Turkish music drifting from a nearby café, the rumble of the U-Bahn (which is actually super convenient), and that distinct Berlin morning energy that's hard to describe but impossible to miss. The building itself has that authentic Berlin character – you know, the kind with high ceilings and creaky wooden floors that tell stories. Don't expect fancy marble lobbies or anything like that, but what you get instead is something more genuine. The rooms feel lived-in in the best way possible, with furniture that's comfortable rather than Instagram-perfect, and windows that actually open wide (a small miracle in many hotels these days).
What really got me was how the staff – and I think it might be family-run, though I never confirmed this – seemed to know every corner of the neighborhood. They didn't just hand me a generic tourist map; they actually sketched out routes to the best späti (corner store) for late-night beer runs and pointed me toward Markthalle Neun without me even asking about food markets. The location puts you within walking distance of some seriously good Turkish breakfast spots along Kottbusser Damm, and if you're into the whole hipster coffee scene, there are places nearby that roast their own beans and take it almost too seriously. Evenings here are pretty special too – Kreuzberg after dark is when the neighborhood really shows its personality, with everything from underground bars in actual basements to surprisingly good Vietnamese pho places that stay open late. I'll be honest, it can get a bit loud on weekends (this is Kreuzberg, after all), but that's part of the charm. Plus, if you're the type who needs absolute silence, you probably shouldn't be staying in one of Berlin's most vibrant districts anyway. The whole experience feels less like staying at a hotel and more like crashing at a friend's place – if that friend happened to live in one of the coolest neighborhoods in Berlin and knew all the local secrets.

Every things cleanness location
Cosy, comfortable, clean, well equipped, close to most main sights. value for money!
Not far from the metro. Quite nice interior.
Location was excellent.for what we wanted to visit in Berlin. The sofa bed was ok - but not great. Parking was on the street.
Clean, easy to reach by public transport. Grocery stores, shopping mall, and plenty of restaurants at walking distance.
Location, facilities were in good order, quiet, warm (given the very low outside temp). The apartment was close to both U and S stations - it was an easy walk to popular sites.
great location, a lot of things on walking distance, plus metro and train stations very close, quiet area, perfect... responsive hosts, everything clean.. hosts left us in the apartment until the time we needed to go to the airport which was very helpful because we were with kids
Was close enough to walk to some of the major sights and S-bahn and U-bahn stations.
